Russell and FlaviaWe're in the dancing mood here at QVC thanks to Today's Special Value from Zalza with dancing duo, Flavia Cacace and Russell Grant.

In a recent survery of over 1,000 Brits, we discovered that dancing is their favourite weight loss method with 26% of the vote!

40% of women stated that dance was their favourite followed by a workout DVD in the comfort of their own home (25%) so we hope that many of you are enjoying our Today's Special Value and are excited to get it home to try out!

The survey also asked what your favourite dance moment in films were and the study revealed that Dirty Dancing's ‘The Time of my Life’ was the most popular with a quarter of the vote, closely followed by the title track from ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ (23%).

In fact, we learnt that 57% of Brits have attempted the moves for themselves with ‘Stayin’ Alive’ from Saturday Night Fever being the most attempted dance moment (33%) despite the 41% who despair at their dancing abilities (predominantly men – 57%).

The top ten dance moments voted by you are:

We asked our Zalza stars, Flavia Cacace and Russell Grant what their favourite dance moment in films is from the nation’s top ten and they chose the ‘American Smooth’ from Top Hat.

Flavia commented saying:

'I have always loved dance having been inspired by the talents of so many wonderful dancers and actresses in film. Any dance I see that gets me excited, I have to try out, so Russell and I thought we’d show the nation, they can too!'

Russell added:

'I’ve lost 11-stone through dance and diet, and enjoyed doing it – having tried everything else!  Zalza combines my love for Latin American movements and music with a fun workout.  Despite men and women doubting their dance abilities, hopefully seeing me strut my stuff will show them that they can too.'
