It's our 50 Hours of Fashion event this weekend and we'll be showcasing two stunning TSVs, new fashion, plus stylish looks for autumn/winter.

Designer Kim of Kim & Co and Helen Austin of EMU join us to talk about their new collections and this weekend's Today's Special Value offers…

Hi everyone, Kim here,

I'll be on-air launching my Today’s Special Value at midnight on October 8th.The TSV (pictured on the left) is an elegant blouson sleeve top with a deep sweet V-neckline, featuring a small banded cuff and in our brand new holographic Starry Sky Brazil Knit print.

It will be available in Gunmetal Multi (in shades of oyster, African violet and blueberry), Wineberry Multi (accented by oyster, gunmetal and black) and Fern Green Multi (accented by pearl, gold and dark brown).

With sparkling excitement from the holograms it will accent any gold or silver jewellery. The fabric is renowned for being the softest to the touch and easiest to care for as it's machine washable.

Kim & Co Starry Sky Frill Hem Skirt You can team it with the matching Starry Sky skirt  or any style trousers available within this collection. Set the tone for the season with casual comfort, following the trend of ladylike chic with a rich textured look and the lightweight comfort of Brazil Knit.

Also, back by popular demand is the stretch velvet fabric in jet black and two new colours; wineberry and pewter – they co-ordinate exquisitely with the Today’s Special Value top. Feel free to comment here on the blog, on my Facebook page (search Kim Mendelson) or send us an e-mail at blog@kimco.ca as I always love to hear from you.

Love,

Kim

EMU guest Helen Austin tells us more about the new collection…

Helen Austin Hi there,

I'm so excited about showing off the new EMU footwear collection to you on Sunday, Plus we have a great TSV – ultra-chic EMU ankle boots in six versatile colours!

EMU ankle boots EMU's selection is just getting bigger and better than ever with so many styles and colours to choose from. I'm sure you're going to love them!

I am so proud to represent the EMU brand on QVC as they started as a family-run business and have stayed as a family-run business, even though their boots are sold in 67 countries worldwide! They've also stayed true to their Australian roots and only use local Australian wool – you can't get better than that!

One of the things that I love about EMU boots is that they're worn and loved by all different ages, from young to old, and as more and more A-list celebs are spotted wearing them, they're proving to be the brand of choice.

You may have noticed that there are even more colours on offer now, most with beautiful earthy tones, all inspired by Australia's dramatic landscape. These colours make them pretty timeless and great to wear with any colour.

Model wearing EMU ankle boots Put them with leggings, short skirts, floaty skirts, jeans… in fact they'll work with pretty much anything. And trust me, once you've put your feet inside them, you'll understand just how comfy they are. You'll be walking around on cloud nine!

So, I look forward to you joining me on Sunday and I hope you'll find out for yourselves why I'm so in love with them!

Bye for now,

Helen

I agree especially as the weather is getting cooler and her fabrics really are not for the colder months, I have to say that Kim’s prices are just getting to high compared to others now!

I’m a size 4 but can get away with a 6 and am only 5’2″, so buy petites; I wish Kim & Co clothes came in my size, as I do find some of the patterns and designs quite fashionable. Larger ladies are catered for but, at least on QVC, us smaller ladies are not.
