We caught up with Britain's favourite interior designer, Kelly Hoppen, to hear all about her plans for Christmas. And lucky for us, she's thrown in some festive decorating tips as well!
Read all about Kelly's festive season plans below…
This year I will be having a big Christmas lunch in the country with my family, and then I'm off on holiday for some sunshine for two weeks. I can't wait to relax before what is already looking to be a very busy 2013!
Do you enjoy hosting Christmas at your house?
Yes, I do like to host Christmas. This will be my first Christmas day in England for many years as I would usually go away on holiday before the big day.
I will be having a large Christmas tree this year at my partners – all white and silver and very vintage. I like lots of pussy willow and pussy willow bowls filled with massive vintage silver balls. I put wreaths on the doors and lanterns with pussy willow and candles flickering down the drive.
What is on your Christmas list this year?
Which pieces from your range will make perfect gifts?
All the collection works well as gifts, the smaller items such as flowers or candles would be a joy to receive whilst not breaking the bank. Or, you can't go wrong with bed linen for a loved one – it's so luxurious and it is something they will use for many years to come. And it may not be something that they prioritise to buy for themselves, so it is the perfect treat.
