Fashion month continues at QVC – have you treated yourself yet? I’m such a fashion fan and I’ve been loving being able to try some of the key autumn/winter looks this month… more below, as well as a sneaky peek at three great fashion offers.
But first – and sort of staying with fashion – I do love a cute cat video, and Hercules the QVC cat came up trumps this week when he invaded one of our fashion shows. If you haven’t heard about Hercules yet, he’s a cat who lives in Chiswick near our building but has sort of adopted QVC as a second home. He’s here nearly every day and is just gorgeous! This is what happened when we filmed part of of our Clarks shoes show outside in Chiswick Park, and Hercules wanted a piece of the CATwalk action:
Now some quickfire fashion for you – first my final two picks from our autumn collections, and this week it’s all about the stripy dress! I love both of these – the blue one is Yong Kim and the shirt dress is Ronen Chen.
And now a quick look at some upcoming Today’s Special Value offers. First, on Monday 21st a baby boucle knit sleeveless waistcoat from a new range by the fabulous Marla Wynne called Wynne Layers. This is all about casual, comfortable, easy-care, easy-wear separates which can be layered, and are simple in style so easy to accessorise to increase their versatility. As you’d expect from Marla, the range uses quality yarns and a gorgeous colour palette but prices are a little lower than the main range which is nice! The waistcoat is very elegant and drapes beautifully, and comes in off-white, prairie sand, grey (pictured on me!). mahogany rose and black.
Then on Tuesday 22nd it’s Vionic and a lovely suede trainer that comes in five colours – four are pictured here (burgundy, charcoal, tan and navy) and it is also available in black. This shoe is a small fit so it’s recommended to go up a full size, but we will clarify this on the day! It’s a really light trainer with the usual built in orthotic support, looks very sports luxe and is really comfortable.
And finally on Thursday 24th it’s the Details faux fur hooded coat – a chance to get ahead for the autumn with a snuggly jacket! It comes in four colours – black (pictured), teal, fog and burgundy – and the ruched side panels give it a flattering shape, not at all ‘boxy’ like some padded jackets. The hood is detachable too which makes it more versatile. The price is superb – I can’t tell you what it is but it is VERY good value!
And that’s it for today!
