I was asked to try out two pieces of equipment from this incredible international fitness range that makes home and professional gym equipment. I had such a great afternoon filming with Will. As you know me I can’t keep still for more than a minute and I get almost giddy with excitement when I see another piece of fitness equipment especially when it’s new like Tunturi.
Originally created over 90 years ago by two brothers who made bicycles, Tunturi is now an international brand for home and professional use. Have a look at the pics below and see how over the 90 years they have grown. I particularly love the 60’s shot, so Xanadu huh?! Loved that film!! I so wanted to be Olivia Newton John on those roller skates in that rather fab outfit.
I had a great workout on the treadmill. From my experience to get a strong and sturdy folding treadmill is tough, because often for it to fold the build can be compromised. But this didn’t let me down, from a walk to a sprint I loved it. The speed and incline adjustment controls were on the handles and not on the display at the front, great idea. It has some superb programmes and challenges so you never get bored and can stay focused. The 10% incline is great for simulating hill climbing and works the butt a treat. I couldn’t resist a sprint to test it to the max! Will came out in a hot sweat filming but it was just perfect.

I can’t resist an elliptical trainer and this one was a real treat, smooth, quiet, great foot treads and so incredibly comfortable. I could have gone on for hours. An elliptical is perfect for a great workout on the upper and lower body with less impact on the lower joints. The digital screen was so clear and adjustable with great programmes to make each workout unique and as tough or as easy as you like. The push and pull on the arms is a great resistance tool for muscle toning the whole arm, plus the upper back and chest…
Tunturi is strong, well made great fitness equipment that won’t look out of place in anyone’s home… I feel a purchase coming on – help!
Have a very healthy and happy 2016
