Expectations met!

Rosy Hiya,

Hope your week has got off to a good start. I mentioned in my last blog how I was counting down the days to the latest, and final instalment of Harry Potter.

So how did it fare? As it was the second day of release I hadn't really seen or read any reviews. I was however, going by the last film which I really enjoyed.

I often find that if I read rave review after rave review my expectations are fairly high and then it can be a bit of a disappointment (I'll be honest, despite all the great reviews, I didn't enjoy Transformers nearly as much as the first film).

However, back to Harry. Granted, there were a few bits and pieces missing from the book and a few things done differently. But for me, the film was epic. I loved 'The Deathly Hallows, part II' from start to finish. It really didn't disappoint. If you've seen it I'd love to know your thoughts.

It was a pretty hectic week leading up to the film. I mentioned a while ago how Popcorn our hamster narrowly escaped an operation. Rosy (pictured above) however, our other hamster wasn't so fortunate. A little cyst developed on her back and was growing steadily. So she was booked in for a small operation last Thursday, to have it removed. Thankfully all went well!

She looks a little raggedy with the patch of fur that was shaved away and she now has three stitches. Our vet is so caring and gentle when it comes to looking after our pets and did a fabulous job. And my children are just relieved, as we all are, that Rosy is fit and well again!

Charlie Bears logo On the subject of cute and adorable – I've just noticed the date! This coming Monday 25th July I'm on air at midnight with the Charlie Bears TSV. We have two magical choices and they are out of this world! As Charlie says… there's always room for one more bear!

See you soon!

Take care,

Charlie x

    Hi Charlie.
Glad your doing “Charlie Bears” on Tuesday. I have sent you a couple of photo’s of my dog Bella. She adores watching you and Charlie Bears. Do hope you get them in time. She’s a right little character and thought Will and Charlie might get a laugh at the photo’s. Can you ask any chance of a Bella bear ??
    Will be watching with Bella.

    Hi Charlie
Hope sweetie Rosy is ok. My puss Casper had the same thing a few years ago and all was well once it was removed. Love Charlie Bears. Are they going to do a ‘QPid’ bear for next Valentines Day
    modelled on Dale?! x
