With Easter fast approaching and the kids already off school, it can be difficult figuring out how to keep everybody entertained (without simply plying your youngest with chocolate). Fear not! We’ve come up with some fun activities that’ll get everyone from your toddler to your grandma out into the garden to soak up this spate of good(ish) weather while it lasts.
Planting can be a lot of fun for everyone if they know the result will be colourful. Why not make the fruits of your labour delicious and get a little adventurous with these tasty treats? Make sure to plant these goodies as soon as you can for a fruitful (get it?) harvest come summer/autumn. Why not have a competition and guess whose fruits will be the biggest?
Music and lights
Choosing some fun accessories for the garden will make spending time in it with loved ones a joy. An animal theme is always a family crowd-pleaser; pick pieces that provide gentle lighting come evening time, as well as tinkling as the wind blows.
There’s magic in the air
Do you believe in fairies? It’s time to start! Create a gorgeous and inviting environment for a fairy picnic, complete with twinkling lights and glowing lanterns, as well as soft blankets to sit on (machine washable, of course) and delicious cakes to nibble.

Time to chill
Of course while the kids are having fun, there’s always time for a little rest and relaxation. For the ultimate in comfort, try this multi-position recliner with its own canopy and drinks holder. There’s no losing when you snooze in this chair!
Don’t rain on our parade
As much as we cling on to every ray of sunshine and valiantly smile our way through light drizzle, it’s hard to find ways to enjoy ourselves in a wet and windy garden. If the worst happens and rain does strike, you’ll need a few tricks up your sleeve to distract the little ones until it passes. Build a fast-paced and exciting racecourse and watch each car whizz around the track in fun flashing colours, or get your brain working hard with a flashing light puzzle that brings out the competitive streak in everyone.
