EMU are reborn as they celebrate 20 years!

EMU logoFor the last six years, QVC has been the only TV shopping channel in the UK to offer EMU footwear, and in 2014 the brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary by launching a completely re-designed line with us that's inspired by a new 'Ever Natural' ethos.

Five new 'brand pillars' – Natural, Comfort, Innovation, Boundless and Enduring – are the driving forces behind EMU’s new season collection, which we'll be debuting later this week as part of our 50 Hours of Fashion event and making available to buy online from Friday.

EMU’s new refined Autumn/Winter 2014 collection shows the brand's evolution and journey beyond wool and sheepskin, now incorporating leather and memory foam to create contemporary styles with hidden comfort features. These upgrades are coupled with an explosion of colour across the Stinger Lo water-resistant boot, their most popular style, available from QVC in 10 colours.

Redesigned EMU Stinger Lo bootsThese classic designs outlive fast fashion, making them fantastic investment pieces that will stand the test of time and stay in vogue season after season. The emphasis remains on comfort and style, with every style featuring a redesigned sole that is 30% lighter, and more flexible than ever, with subtly re-profiled shapes that are softer and more feminine. The re-design also means they are absolutely true to size, and also offer better than ever ankle support so they don't deform like some imitations.

The range is still as extensive as before, with classic sheepskin boots and fashion-focused designs with new fabrications like oil-stained leather, and the ever-popular plush slippers.

Perfect for when you’re at home and craving indulgence, these have the same easy-on style as before, and now feature a new sole pattern that's been designed to offer superior grip. They make a great gift and (spoiler alert) we're going to be offering a fantastic special deal on one of our most popular styles before the year is out. You heard it here first!

Born in Geelong, in the heart of Australia’s prime wool country and just minutes from the world-renowned Bells Beach on the Great Ocean Road, the EMU brand emerged out of Jackson’s Tannery in 1994, a family business established in 1948. Their signature boots were originally designed by surfers to combat cold feet after winter surfing, but quickly caught on as a stylish footwear must-have among fashionistas the world over.

Make sure you tune in on Friday 15th August at 9pm for a special two-hour show!

I have two pairs of leather Ugg and find them great in wet and snow as they can be protected with polish. Will there be anything like that. I also find that my heels don’t fit into Emu as well has this been addressed?

Hi Wendy, good news! We’ve listened to requests and worked with EMU to ensure some styles are going to be available in a size 9 this time around.
In answer to your question Joyce, there are a number of waterproof treated suede items in the new range that feature sealed seams and finishes so snow and rain runs right off them without having to apply polish. There are also water-resistant sheepskin examples as well. There will also be some leather pieces for the first time too, so if you prefer leather to sheepskin or suede, you’ll have that option also.
The heel is an area that has been reprofiled with the new designs to give greater support. Give them a try! If you find you’re not happy, all of the usual refund guarantees still apply.

Please can you tell me when the new redesigned Stinger Lo with choice of 10 colours will be available to buy? Also it has been mentioned that there is going to be a TSV before the year is out on one of your most popular styles (the Stinger Lo maybe??) please can you give any idea as to when this is likely to be as I am keen to try the new more slimline version, being a small size 3 the old version was always that bit too big and obviously sizing down wasn’t an option with 3 being your smallest size. Thanks.
