Hello! How has your week been?
Mine has been good, I nipped down to Bristol on Monday to have a belated Mother’s Day lunch with my sister and mum. We went to a lovely country pub between Bath and Bristol and had a lovely time (even though the fact the pub was freezing!! Eeek!)
Another very busy week at QVC, I really enjoyed my shows and as I stood in for Catherine on Friday night I got to do Friday Night Beauty for the second time in a row – a lovely surprise!
ELEMIS – SO excited that I have an Elemis show on Sunday with Keeley! It will only be my second full hour show ever of Elemis and it’s going to be such fun. I have been trialing the Pro-Definition range (the lotion/serum, day and night cream) for a few weeks and I have seen an improvement in the tone and definition around my jawline. I have also seen a lovely balanced, bright complexion emerge which for me in winter is a lovely surprise.
I just love the range, particular favourites of mine are the Elemis cleansing balm (not only great as a cleanser but I also use it as a mask, great in the bath when the skin is warm or even as an ‘on top of moisturiser balm’ to protect against these winter winds) and the men’s range and would recommend the discovery collection to try everything. It makes a great Father’s Day gift for dad, Hubbie and friends too!
Please tune in midday on Sunday, it promises to be a fun and inspiring show!
SLEEPING – I have been a bit run down these last few days and been trying to take a break from being so busy and it’s done me good. I had a cold and as it was my 3rd in a row in short succession, I think my body was telling me to rest and just take things slower for a few days. Sleep, my mum always says, is the best medicine (mum is always right!). Made me realise I sleep much better now than I have done in a while. It’s a mixture of things really and I think in my next blog I will talk more about this but I definitely think it’s my new bedtime ritual of various This Works sleep aids, as well as my scrummy Northern Nights flannel bedding – joy!
#MARVELLOUSMARCH – for the rest of the month will you share with me marvellous things you have noticed each week, big or small? Any marvels welcome!
Thank you for your #MarvellousMarch comments last week, I would like more this week please! Here are mine:
2 – My walk to the tube takes me underneath The Shard and as I look up to its awe-insuring height I often think of all the planning, engineering, design and labour that goes into creating a building like that.
3 – The love of friends & family checking to see if I am OK on a daily basis.
Thank you so much for reading my blog! Do let me know what marvellous things you have noticed this last week.
Big big hugs
