I hope you had a lovely Easter break. Life has finally begun to settle down with Taylor and his poorly arm. He eventually went back to school this week. I'm not sure if my stint at home-schooling actually helped him or just confused the hell out of him, I guess only time will tell.
Taylor is still in plaster, bless him. It's coming up to two months now and he really is fed up. It really makes you think about all the little things in life you just take for granted and I think in a weird way we have all learnt a lot from this. We had quite a low-key Easter, having to rely on activites that Taylor could participate in, and it made me realise how active we usually are as a family.
Our favourite trip was to a local farm where the children were able to bottle-feed the spring lambs. It really was a lovely experience and we all really enjoyed it. We had to cancel our holiday to Florida because of Taylor's injury, but funnily enough we were due to fly out on the very day that the volcano errupted, so we couldn't have gone in any case.
I'm a great believer in fate and I guess Mickey Mouse will just have to wait!
