I hope this finds you all as well as can be expected, as always.
This week’s blog offers the chance to win a beautiful hand crafted Mexican Taxco Silver Bracelet and a “nostalgic” view of the brilliant Dyson Cinetic Big Ball TSV launching midnight Thursday (27th).
At home my son Jack was playing Basketball to alleviate the stress of A-Level homework and tripped over Ellie, bouncing beside him and sprained his foot very badly on the kitchen door step – the air was a little blue but that was nothing compared to the rainbow of colours his ankle and foot have now produced (I considered a photo but thought better of it)!
Anyway, when Jack and Tracey finally returned home from A&E, I asked what the Doctor had said and he replied rice! You should’ve seen my face “rice” I repeated incredulously “Yes, just rice, the x-ray showed it wasn’t broken but was badly sprained and rice was the treatment!
I honestly thought he meant putting bags of frozen Uncle Ben’s around the swelling but he actually meant ‘rest, ice, compression and elevation!’ I felt such a fool afterwards, as I was aware of that acronym but we do actually use the bags of frozen rice and that was what I immediately thought of, when he said it! Doh!
In case you’re worried, Ellie was unharmed as she moves like the wind and jumped out-of-the-way, he didn’t at the time see the funny side of her licking his face as he lay writhing in agony.
Toby really loves having Ellie around and you may have seen on-air the video of them wrestling and chasing each other that I shot on the brilliant Apple iPad Air 2 TSV we featured last Sunday.
Don’t miss Dyson’s Animal Cinetic Upright!
At midnight on Thursday, I’ll be launching Friday’s TSV from Dyson. It’s the brilliant Cinetic Big Ball Upright that you may have seen advertised on TV. The Cinetic technology means that you never need to replace or wash filters, or obviously buy bags as it has no need for either!
We will obviously have a fantastic price for you and I can tell you that it will be available in 3 interest free Easy Payments and have FREE P&P ! I was lent a sample to put through it’s paces and I made a short video, with a little help from a furry friend, which is just a bit of lighthearted fun – the Dyson DC75 is a serious cleaning machine and I hope you can join myself and Joseph, a Design Engineer from Dyson at midnight this Thursday.

Now for news of another ‘Blog of The Fox’ competition and your chance to win a stunning Taxco Traditions Sterling Silver Bracelet, hand crafted in Mexico. The prize is their Lily Wrap Bangle which has been generously donated by the very charming and talented Dominique Dinouart, who brings us this fabulous range of silver, all of which is made by hand in the historic hillside Town of Taxco (pronounced Tahss-co). Dominique knows every craftsman and women that makes her designs personally and their skills have been passed down through generations using original tools.
Dominique has often said to me that she has offered to modernise their workshops but they graciously refuse her offer preferring to stick with what works and has worked for many years – living proof of the old adage “if it aint broke ….”
I hope you join me at 9pm on Tuesday the 31st March for our show together.
