Hope you are well and having a good start to the week.
Be sure to keep an eye out at midnight for our Today's Special Value from Kelly Hoppen; it has to truly be one of the most luxurious, opulent and beautiful bedding TSVs ever! And I've been lucky enough to 'test drive' the set for you over the weekend.
Kelly Hoppen, if you didn't know, is an internationally renowned interior designer who has created decadent timeless spaces for a whole heap of A-list celebrities in penthouses, yachts, apartments and country houses as well as hotels. She's a best-selling author and even has an MBE awarded by the Queen.
What I love about the Today's Special Value is that for an affordable price we can all have some designer luxury and it suddenly looks as though we've had our own Kelly Hoppen consultation in our own bedrooms!
When I first received the Kelly Hoppen duvet set my first impression was how beautifully wrapped it was with a photo and little introduction from Kelly about the set. The look, I'm sure you will agree, is beautifully contemporary and clean yet timeles in its simplicity and elegance.
The Damask pattern has been designed by Kelly and along with the high thread count of 600, it catches the light with amazing scintillation, especially on these beautiful sunny mornings. It's not just about the look though, it feels amazing next to your skin too. This is the kind of bedding that you would find on the executive floor of top hotels and is guaranteed to soothe you into an amazing night's sleep.
The set is tremendous value for money when you consider that you get SIX pieces; it works out around £18 a piece, for designer, high tread count Egyptian cotton. I've done some shopping around and I can't find anything to come close on value for the standard you are getting here.
Go, on treat yourself to some gorgeous new bedding for summer, it makes the whole room and yourself feel so much fresher and raring to go!
I particulary love the geometric vases and even though I've put flowers in them here I would also like to put some grasses in them. I also adore the bronze vase which looks great on its own and the hurricane lamp that I have had next to my bed. Sadly I only had a small candle to put it in, imagine it with a huge white church candle in – beautiful!
Hope to see you at the launch at midnight!
