Hi Alison. Can you let me know what order should we be putting our oils and serums on. I use Decleor Neroli oils and Gatineau Aquamemory but not sure which goes on first. Thank you x

Alison – i’ve asked this question on Facebook but i’ve had a double transplant 3 months ago and have worked hard over the past few weeks to stop hair falling out and got the Revitalash TSV for my eye lashes. I am not allowed in the sun without factor 50+ or higher so would like to know if Ultrasun – which I’ve used for a few years now will ever do the 50+ or higher in the 500ml size???? Also, i am using Elemis and Gatineau and Decleor and SBC products – I own most of the QVC range since i’ve not had much else to do!! so any tips on how to look normal again – face is swollen after the surgery for some reason – would be gratefully received.

    Hi Alison and Will
I love your Q&A sessions, hope this is going to be a regular feature!
My problem is that you have such a fantastic range of products and prices that I am spoilt for choice and I’ve found it difficult to choose so I’ve been dipping in and out of different brands. How do I go about choosing the best one for me?
I am 57 and my main concern is anti-ageing – not lines so much, but signs of sagging in the jaw and neck area and my eyes – dark circles and I can see the first signs of a bit of droopiness.
Also – Serums – is it ok to put over the whole eye area?
Alison, thanks for asking the different brand representatives all the questions I would often want to ask them if I was in the show.
    Many thanks, Maria

    Hi Ali,
Please can you let me know the best serum/creams to use and foundation for deep lines and crepeness from mouth to chin? I am currently using Bare Essentials or Laura Geller foundations and both sink into lines and make crepiness look worse and I am using Decleor anti ageing oils and moisturiser but still not seeing an improvement! Thank you!

Hi Alison, I am new to QVC I have watched a few of the skincare shows and have sensitive, dry dehydrated skin prone to redness. I also have a bit of a T-Zone. Can you recommend any daytime creams with good sun protection? I don’t mind having a separate cream for the sun protection if you can recommend one as I would like an spf of at least 40 as I am also concerned about ageing (I am 22). If you could also recommend a night time cream I would be grateful.

    Hi Alison
I’m in my early 60s and use Decleor Hydra for my face (nothing round the eye area, I’m hyper-sensitive) but I’m finding the Hydra not really adequate. I’ve tried the Gatineau but didn’t like the thick texture. Any product suggestions? Judith Williams is too highly perfumed for my sensitivity. Am I hopeless case? Christine (aka Penfoldsmum).

    Hi Alison
First of all thanks to you and QVC for the chance to try beauty products, I have extremely sensitive skin and have wasted a fortune over the years until I tuned in!
My question is this – I have what my mother would have termed ‘dishpan hands’,they look red and very unattractive. I use handcream and cuticle oil, so they feel soft, but don’t look it – would any of your handcreams help to improve the look of the skin, as well as the texture? I’m 45, naturally pale-skinned and I never, ever sunbathe!
Best wishes to you and the team
    Heather from Belfast.

    Hi Alison!
I need help with my 52 year old, very fair skin.
I have both hyper-pigmentation and hypo-pigmentation (brown, purple/red, white/cream) all along my jawline and neck.
    1. How do I diminish it and attain a more even skin tone?
    2. How do I conceal it?

    Hi Alison
I know you’re supposed to apply Ultrasun about 20 minutes before sun exposure. If you have to go out sooner though, say unexpectedly after 5 or 10 minutes, does this reduce the level of protection for the rest of the day or are you just not protected at all until the 20 minutes has passed?

Hi Alison, I am a 39 year old woman who still has greasy skin and spots, especially around the chin and jaw line/cheeks. I am not sure whether I should be using products that combat the oiliness of my skin or because of my age should I be looking towards more anti-aging products? Please help as I am not sure what to do.

    Hi Alison,
I wanted to ask the following questions:
    1. I have just turned 30 and have often heard that this is the time I should start using eye cream. I just wanted to ask which one you would recommend?
    2. I have some scarring from spots over the years and wanted to ask what products you would recommend to help reduce or get rid of these?

Hi Alison, I would like your advice on what products to use to help tone wobbly thighs (due to lack of mobility through illness)?
I would really like your shows to show more products to help with problems like this, as firming/toning the body seems to be something that has gone missing from the ranges on QVC.
    Thank you x

Dear Alison, I absolutely love all of the elemis products and would like to know if the total glow can be used on the face and should it be applied before or after moisturizer. Do you think there would be a chance of elemis making a bath elixir and body cream to compliment the frangipani shower cream. Thanks for your help.

Dear Alison, I absolutely love all of the elemis products and would like to know if the total glow can be used on the face and if so, should it be used before or after moisturizer. Also do you think that elemis would consider a bath elixir and body lotion to compliment the wonderful frangipani shower cream. Many thanks.

I am 25 and am currently using Proactiv facewash and toner along with Simple moisturiser as a few years ago i suffered bad acne – i now only get the occasional spot around a period. My pores are visible and i get an oily nose, i find that too rich creams brings me out in spots. I have noticed that my makeup does not sit nicely on my skin and clogs around the nose and i would like a new skincare regime that would make my skin look fresher as well as being something i can continue to use for anti ageing purposes – am i at the correct age to start, and what products do you recommend?

    Hello Alison,
Im looking for some advice regarding ultrasun please. I have a Port-Wine Stain birthmark on my face and back, I had my face lasered when I was a baby (Im now 21 years old). I have to keep my face out of the sun and I use a factor 30 sunblock at the moment which I have to re-apply multiple times during the day. Could you recommend a product in the ultrasun range or another brand you have on QVC?
    Many thanks for your time,

Hi I am 66 and have never been in a position to buy really nice beauty products. I have a really unusual skin problem. After an accident 22yrs ago I am totally allergict to any form of light and heat, in fact only one in the world with this particular problem so I really need your advice. My skin is not exposed to the sun but I really need something that will hydrate it. As it is really dry. I listen to most of your shows but am totally confused with all the products available. My husband has bought several products from the Chemists to try but I really do need sorting out. Please, please can you help with explaining to me the way to start a regime. I have dabbled buying bits but now is the time that I have really have to asked for your expert advice. Due to a lot of medical problems I do take a lot of medication. Alison, I have never asked for help off anyone but I hope that u can take time to help as you will appreciate having this disease is so rare. You can’t get help off anyone as they are just guessing, I really need expert advice. At the moment it is really a hard time with the heat and the sun so I would really appreciate your expert advice. Trouble is where will I know where the answer is. Thank you and look forward to your shows and I am learning some things.

Alison can you help please? For a couple of months my face has hot and itchy, I can’t even use the moisturiser I’ve been using for years. I bought Elemis Pro-cologen Marine cream which I have used before, but my face started to get hot and itchy i had to take it of. I always had sensitive skin, but I don’t know what’s gone wrong. I haven’t changed any products I was using. I am 59 and past menopause, so I don’t think it’s that. Can you recommend anything that could help. I was thinking about Emma Hardie am/pm moisturiser, but I’m kinda scared to try it at the moment.
