It’s been a very busy few days at QVC and home too. Non-stop infact!
I’m still smiling from the three hour show I presented recently with Alison Keenan on Diamonique day. It was a fabulous event and of course there are exquisite Diamonique designs always ready to be found online. I adore the range and am so proud to represent the collection on air.
The show with Ali was so much fun. We were on our best behaviour… most of the time!
Ali though was extremely mischievous when it came to a biscuit which was kindly given to me to enjoy during the last half hour!
Catch it here to see what happened!
Now Ali knows how much I love my food… especially biscuits! I thought to myself, in time I’m sure I’ll be able to forgive Ali 😉 but it will take time!
Well, Ali clearly felt very guilty about the whole incident 🙂 and duly presented me with a beautiful parcel a few days later! So special in fact that I felt the need to record the unveiling!
We have some amazing times here at QVC and I work with some incredible people and I’m proud to say that Ali is the dearest of friends.
Busy at home too. We are still preparing the old kitchen for the new and are slowly sifting through more cupboards and draws. I couldn’t believe what I recently found. One of my transformer toys (robots in disguise!). It’s dated 1982… 37 years ago! It’s definitely one to keep and have on display. I’ve another somewhere which is a little submarine which turns into a robot too.
We also have a new resident in the Brook household or garden I should say.
This pigeon visits us so often. I’ve no idea why. He (or maybe she) will often perch themselves in our cherry tree. We’ve named the pigeon Pat (short for Patrick or Patricia) as we’re not sure if they’re male or female!
Hope to catch you on air soon or maybe on Twitter I’m @mecharliebrook
