Discover Living Proof

2

Hello again!

We have plenty of quality haircare products for you to choose from at QVC, but we will be highlighting one of our newer brands throughout January on QVC Beauty. I’m excited to share the news that Living Proof will be our Discovery Brand for January.

We’ve already seen a couple of things from them on the Morning Show and other hours on our Live channel, but we’ll be spending much more time telling you what is different about this range over on our Beauty channel, as we’ll be devoting an hour every day to this revolutionary haircare range. Here’s a sneak peek:

Living Proof is the best combination of beauty and brains, having been founded by world-class biotech scientists and beauty experts. With the belief that it’s possible to solve any beauty problem using science, Living Proof have invented and patented new molecules that have never been used before in beauty products.

Living Proof at QVC UK

Innovative solutions to help change the way our hair behaves and improve how it looks have helped win them over 100 awards, and we’re delighted to have an extensive range of their products now available at QVC. The Living Proof philosophy is that their haircare products keep their promises, giving you confidence-boosting results – try the range out for yourself to see if your hair is the living proof that it works!

There are two main lines within the range that will feature in our QVC Beauty shows – Full and No Frizz, alongside the Healthy Hair dry shampoo. With my fine, rather flat (but can be fluffy at the ends) hair, it is the Full Shampoo and Conditioner that I tried first, and I noticed an improvement in the texture of my hair the very first time I used them.

Both the Full and No Frizz formulations contain the Living Proof patented Healthy Hair molecule, OFPMA, which helps to create an exquisitely thin, weightless and invisible shield around each hair strand, without the use of silicone. It helps to:

  • Repel dirt to keep hair cleaner for longer
  • Eliminate frizz by blocking humidity
  • Polish and protect each hair strand
  • Smooth the hair to create shine without weighing it down

The molecule is proven to be 70% more effective at blocking humidity than the most widely used anti-frizz technology based on silicone. If frizz is your problem, you HAVE to give Living Proof No Frizz a chance to prove itself to your hair!

The second patent is for the thickening molecule, PBAE. It’s more effective than the sticky, stiff resins we may find in similar products, creating a microscopic pattern of thickening points on hair for long lasting, touchable fullness, body and thickness. Fine, flat hair looks, feels and behaves like full, thick hair. Those are the promises Living Proof makes, and for me, the promises were well and truly kept.

After using the shampoo, conditioner and thickening cream (a tiny amount is all you need) my make-up artist June commented on how silky my hair felt, but without any floppiness. She blow dried my hair for me (a real treat!) and it was full of movement and texture. You can see the pictures here, but what I was most impressed with was how long the style lasted. I washed it before going on air on the Tuesday morning, it was fine for Wednesday and amazingly even Thursday morning.

Incredibly, I didn’t even wash it again before heading out to join some of the other QVC presenters at a party thrown by Ali Keenan on FRIDAY EVENING – three and a half days later! Here’s a photo to prove it…

There is so much more to Living Proof, too much to tell you here. That’s why we’ll be bringing you daily shows about this range throughout January on QVC Beauty, so that you can really discover what it could do for your hair.

Give it a go and you could find that you are Living Proof that they really do keep their promises!

I hope you love it as much as I do.

Take care, and Happy New Year!

Kathy x
