Destination Gems…. Returns!

Toby watching TVHello, hope you've had a great week!

I'm thrilled to announce Destination Gems is returning this Tuesday 28th January at 7pm.

You may have noticed we now have a regular jewellery show every Tuesday evening at this time, ranging from our beautiful collection of Diamonique to stunning Or Paz silver. Each week brings a specially featured range or collection and this Tuesday it's the turn of Destination Gems with me.

I was so flattered, eighteen months ago, to be given my own show. Destination Gems is a real passion of mine and I'm so excited to see its return.

I've been in touch with our buyers who've just returned from their recent trip to the Vicenza jewellery fair. They've had a fantastic time. We're working on the current line up for my first show of 2014.

I'll be in the fabulous company of Mark Walker who will cast his expert eye across the range with me. I now just need to decide what the gem reveal will be…?! Decisions decisions!

Thank you to everyone who watched Pampered Pets with me on Wednesday. My two gorgeous cairns kept popping up in the show and didn't cause too much mayhem. Phew! Also, thanks to everyone who tweeted in pictures of their pets. I've really enjoyed looking at them. If you'd like to follow me on twitter I'm @mecharliebrook. I'd love to meet your pet. I couldn't resist showing you this – Dale tweeted me this picture of Toby watching the show! Misty and Bramble are yet to meet Toby. We plan a walk in the not too distant future.

ScruncherOn the subject of pets, you may have heard the very sad news of my friend and colleague Jill Franks. Scruncher, her beloved English Bull dog went missing on the tow path at Barry Avenue, in Windsor, on Thursday 17th. Jill and her husband, Larry, are terribly upset and worried. If you click on Jill's blog you'll be able to find out more. We're keeping everything crossed for Scruncher's safe return.

Take care and I do hope you can join me on Tuesday evening for Destination Gems.

Charlie x

Morning Charlie [and Misty and Bramble] WHAT STARS.
We all REALLY enjoyed their debut last night. Can you believe I took nearly the exact same photo of Bella watching [as Dale took].I know Bella really enjoyed watching the girls because she took one of her toys to the screen for them to play with. She does that when she watches Paul O’Grady and Olga [ his dog]. I managed to get the wand brush [ in pink of course] as she needs a softer one for a groom.
Can’t wait for destination gems next week, and have noticed your doing a Charlie Bears too [ not mentioned to Bella yet].
Have a good weekend. Take care.
Debby [ Bella sends a Whoof and 2 little Whoofs to the girls].

    Hi Charlie
It was lovely to see Misty and Bramble on the Pet Show. love the picture of Dales dog watching you on TV. Looking forward to the Gem Show.
It is so sad about Jill’s dog Shruncher, I do hope he is soon found . She must be broken hearted as she loves her dogs so much. Having dogs myself like you , you can imagine what she is going through. I check everyday to see if she has got him back. Someone somewhere must know something as to where he is.
    Don’t work to hard Charlie
    Love Jean x

Hello Jean and thanks for your comments.
We’re all keeping our fingers crossed for Jill. Let’s hope there’s some good news very, very soon.
There is no danger of me working too hard ;-)
    Take care
