Desperately seeking winter sunshine!

3

Jilly leaning on a television cameraHi everyone! Hope you are all managing to stay warm and cosy in this chilly weather!

I am getting desperate for some sunshine so have started to look at some winter sun breaks! However I do get cross that prices go up so much in the school holidays and also how holiday companies can get away with charging an adult price for a twelve-year-old when we are still all in one room and, of course, with an all-inclusive deal, the twelve year old is not consuming alcohol!

Any ideas from those of you who have had this problem do let me know!

Meanwhile I'm enjoying getting the hang of twitter! If you haven't got involved yet it is a great way to keep in touch on a daily basis. You can find me @JillyQVC. I will always let you know what's happening at QVC and if I can some clues as to special promotions too. Plus, it's also a way of seeing what goes on behind the scenes!

For those of you who asked about the saga of my floors (yes, you did ask to be kept informed!) it is still an ongoing, boring process I'm afraid. There has been yet another inspection and it's now almost 12 weeks of living in a Swiss cheese and still awaiting the final decision from the insurance company so hopefully more on that next time.

Before I go, there's a few superb Today's Special Value offers to look out for; the Miele cylinder vacuum with the delightful and charming Russell Bristow (QVC devotees of old may remember Russell from years ago and he really knows his cleaning), and a gorgeous Lola Rose jewellery box and bracelet set launching on Sunday night – perfect for Mother's Day!

Take care and I'll see you on Twitter!

    Hi Jilly
My advice would be to have a look on some websites where owners lease out their own apartments for a fixed price for a week, then you just book your own flights. There are loads available and some good deals to be done. Good luck !
