I could not have asked for a better first host. She greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. During my first show Julia fell in love with one of my skirts.
She loved its shape and the movement it created when worn. She loved it so much that I named it after her! I am so happy to have had Julia’s wonderful introduction set the tone for the next five years.
I’ve had many memorable moments during these first five years, the most memorable of which is getting stranded in London during the "snow" storm. It was a blessing in disguise because for the first time I was able to enjoy the city of London!
Whenever I am in town, I am usually working my behind off between going on air and visiting the shops, so I rarely get to take my time and take in some sights. It was truly wonderful to enjoy London without being in a rush to get to my next engagement.
My designs have evolved during my time with QVC, but there are a few favourites that I have. My fluid jersey waterfall jacket (pictured above)is the first to come to mind. For me it was the start of creating pieces that have cascading elements to them.
The asymmetric top (pictured left) has been reborn in many prints, and like me, you lovely ladies never tire of this piece! When it comes to bottoms, I’ve two favourites: my no-seam trousers with the elasticated waist and my wide leg fluid jersey trousers .
What’s next for me is presenting you the key items you need for the holiday season. I will be stepping it up a notch with texture, shimmer and dramatic accents that will allow you to bring the most stylish cheer ever.
It’s all about remaining comfortable while making a statement as you enter the room, and I will be sure to bring you pieces that help you to do both! In the below pics from left to right, I'm wearing my knitted cocoon cardigan and the no seam trousers, the red twist-front top is teamed with my ruched leggings and the kimono sleeve jersey dress is also paired with them.
Thank you so much for staying tuned these past five years. Let’s have a toast, to the holidays and to another great five years, with more style and more Attitude! 😉
