Alongside many wonderful new pieces, I'm looking forward to sharing with you the few that didn't make it due to a certain volcano erupting back in April!
In a way, it may have been a mixed blessing – the deep orange hues of my Shades of Fire Opal & Citrine Ring, and the rich dusky shades of the Multi Gemstone Drop Earrings, are far more suited to the warmth of autumnal fashions. Still, having seen them online for so long, I can't wait to get them on-air and show them to you properly!
My latest pieces still underline my belief that jewellery should be as romantic, sophisticated and attention-grabbing as possible. So you can expect another bold colour scheme, this time with a strong injection of blues, golds and purples.
Also making a return is my love of black used as a colour – expect statement rings and pendants aplenty. A healthy dose of sparkle is showing through with a much stronger emphasis on diamonds, so keep an eye out for them in a palette of black, white and cognac, often placed alongside colourful cocktail gems.
For those of you who loved the bows last time round – expect a few more surprises in that direction, but I'm not going to give too much away! The biggest development however, is the inclusion of the Coronet Setting in its full, and now flattened, glory. Imagine rose windows in cathedrals, rendered in gold and studded with stones; romantic, dramatic, and just a touch gothic. I hope you'll be as delighted with them as I am!
While I'm not quite as bad as Harrods putting up their Christmas department in August, I would be lying if I said I wasn't already thinking about the coming festive months. With another show already scheduled for November, I can promise you that that the rocks are going to get bigger and brighter – all in readiness for the party season!
Tune in at 4pm on Friday 14th September to see Lauren's latest designs
