Well, I hope your Christmas has been a good one! My Mum and Dad came down to stay with us from Liverpool, so it was especially good. We have all been spoilt rotten by Santa and have eaten and drunk far too much for our own good! Yay!
It’s set to continue into the New Year, but I have it covered with my Diet Chef order already made!
Our Christmas turkey was lovely - with a lot of help from Mum and Dad! I followed Delia’s recipe to the letter. Having been shamed by Malcolm Harradine and Simon Brown into abandoning my reliance on Aunt Bessie for my roast potatoes, I took their advice and used goose fat to make ultra tasty Maris Pipers. They seemed to take forever, but were worth the wait!
I will be back on screen with Jill Franks on New Year’s Day!
