This week, I ‘are’ mostly been discussing…. Diet Chef! (to be said with a west country accent, a la Fast Show!)
Yes, it’s true. After my first week on the programme, having lost over 1.9 pounds, I’ve been finding out how some of the others at QVC have been doing. Some of my colleagues are discussing eating habits and following each others’ progress as they embark upon QVC’s easy-choice weight loss product, Diet Chef. (see below for info about forum).
An insight to how I deal with problems
Comfort eating has come up a couple of times, hence the discussions about how to deal with things differently. So it’s made me wonder… what are your favourite philosophies in life? What’s helped you in times of trouble? Has someone ever said something that’s changed your life? (she says in a cheesy, presenter-type way!).
I’m a great lover of books and CD sets and it all began in 1997 on QVC when I was asked to do the first Tony Robbins shows. His tapes later helped me cope with lots of life-changing events, especially during my nine years away from QVC, coping with being a single mum, running a business, redundancies and lots more.
What are your main concerns? What makes you reach for the biscuit tin? Is it teenage kids, challenges in career, troublesome people? One common theme crops up time and again when I talk with my mates about why we stick to a diet or not – our problems and how we eat our way through them! So instead, how do we change the way we deal with them and make a diet more successful? Any ideas?
