First – congrats to Jacqui Hand! The winner of the comp giving away signed copies of my three steamy romance novels! Package on its way by end of the week!
What a lovely time we had. As I’ve said, it’s so luxurious on board a cruise ship – ours was the Thomson Celebration. Treats included – bespoke veggie sausages, a lovely cabin with a nice balcony, a new port every morning, and a fabulous cruise team.
To recap, our route was:
Marmeris, Turkey > Istanbul, Turkey > Bulgaria > Romania > Mykonos, Greek island (my favourite) > back to Turkey again to fly home
We had three shore trips, plus a beach afternoon, and lots of lovely relaxing, fab food, and great evening entertainment. Plus there was the obligatory Captain’s Gala dinner – for which I wore my navy Kim & Co dress – which made a double showing last week worn at Marlene’s workshop too!
Most of the pics are pretty self-explanatory, so here’s a little photo gallery mostly from the ship itself – the Thomson Celebration.
P.S. – the weird bunny thing is made out of towels! Trust my mum! Lol.

Enjoying the views from the cruise!
Dressing for the evening entertainment and with the captain
The food was so amazing, I took a pic of the chefs, including Arnell who made me veggie sausages out of veg and tofu fresh each morning! Looovely! Talented bunch.
The fantastic chefs and those amazing veggie sausages!
Hope you enjoyed the pics! I will be booking another cruise soon – I think I’ve got the bug!
Any suggestions about where I can go on my next cruise? Have you been on some nice ones? Leave me a comment below! x
RiWiSi – Book of the Week is Professor Robert Lustig’s assortment of different anti-sugar and pro-health books – so worth having a read – his scientific knowledge is astounding.
I chose them for this week’s Book of the Week ‘cos I met him at the health talk I went to in London on Thursday – pic to the left.
He’s my health hero. What a pic it made too – I was very proud. There were some amazing speakers that day.
But imagine if food was the solution, not only the problem? Well, the info we found out this week was very interesting. Search online for links to his books.
More info about the discussions will be on my Monday 14th ‘Back to You' blog on my website – and heads up for the new Monday night online Hub on Facebook – come online and have a chat about well-being stuff, on the Back to You group (here – anyone can join) between 8 and 9pm-ish, starting this Monday.
Plus, on my new RiWiSi blog this is some Goodreads info for writers. Plus my paperback is out soon!
And – fancy writing a spooky short story and submit it for our Hawllowe’en anthology? More info if you read on…
Also – the wonderful Dale Pinnock – QVC guest and author – was there too. Lovely to see him and some incredible info about his Medicinal Chef book which we sell too… (click here to continue reading)

Watch – another super DVD - Saw 'Mamma Mia' on board the ship – I think they made it a daily special on the day we were going to the Greek islands – including seeing the beach where they shot Shirley Valentine the movie. Saw other films too – three choices each day and a nice refuge from the boiling sunshine mid afternoon – our balcony was like an oven sometimes!
Now many of you will have already seen 'Mamma Mia' – grown men (including Colin Firth!) dancing, singing, and delivering some of the most cheesy footage in every shot! Perfect for a summer afternoon! But soooo cheesy, it’s getting 8/10. Well worth a watch if you’ve not seen it before – if only for Julie Walters! Click here for trailer.
- Out with Lee OK so I got cracking soon as I got back! Saw LJ one night, then the next day, after the FAB Research seminar, I went to the theatre with lovely Lee Hohbein – one of my BFF’s and as regulars will know – my telly hubby! Lol.
More about the theatre show next week, but do go see it if you can! Bakersfield Mist at the Duchess Theatre.
