I have officially decided that I don't like January! It has to be the most miserable month, and I consider myself a really positive person.
Christmas seems like a distant memory, the weather is rotten and eventhing has snapped back into it's old routine.
However, it's not all doom and gloom. I was reading an article in the paper the other day by a psychologist about how we should have things to look forward to, especially in January, so it's not just me who considers it to be the worst month of the year.
He went on to say that little things like phoning an old friend you havent spoken to for ages, meeting someone for a coffee, or even just cooking yourself something special at home really helps us get over our January blues.
He suggested that a little January 'me' treat could really give the spirit a lift. Well that's all the encouragement I needed! I have two glorious hours of gold on Friday night and an hour of Buckley jewellery on Sunday. I shall no doubt be treating myself – on doctor's orders of course!!
