My Today's Special Value collection for spring!

Even more card projects with Today's Special Value...

Here are even more projects that you can try with today's Martha Stewart TSV - enjoy!

Double loops stripes card

1. Cut a strip of green paper 2.5cm (1") wide. Align one end of strip with one of the marks near the ridge of the double loops edge punch and punch one side of strip. 

Flip the strip over and punch the other side, beginning with the same end positioned in the same place on the punch as the first time. This ensures the loops punch directly opposite each other, creating a chain effect.

Repeat with 2.5cm (1") wide strips of light blue and medium blue paper.

2. Create a card base from cream cardstock using a paper trimmer, ruler and bone folder. Adhere your strips to the card as shown using a fine-tip glue pen.

3. Cut “Let’s Celebrate!” adhesive transfer from a sheet in the glitter transfer kit. Apply the transfer to cream paper and sprinkle it with blue glitter. Trim and mat it all on medium blue cardstock.

4. Mount your greeting onto the card with foam dots.

I hope you're as excited as I am about the CuttleBug machine we've got as our Today's Special Value. This great-value set includes everything you need for die-cutting and for embossing some fabulous designs.

Craft Techniques coming up next week

Hi everyone,

I hope you've all had a great start to your new year.

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm going to be back on your screens next Tuesday (19th January) from midnight with a very special Today's Special Value crafting tool to kick off our Crafting Techniques event.

We'll have a series of special two-hour shows from 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, each highlighting a different crafting technique.

On Tuesday we'll be focusing on 3D Papercrafting, Wednesday will see us exercising our Creativity with Stamps, and on Thursday we'll have two hours of Stylish Stickers & Stencils.

Happy New Year!

Just a short note to wish you all a very healthy and happy New Year.

Thank you all so much for making 2009 very special. It's been a great year with some incredible shows and events and I can promise you 2010 is going to be just as special.

While I am off sunning myself in South Africa for the first few weeks of the year, Amy Shaw, my niece, will be on your screens with some fabulous outlet shows - don't miss out on the bargains!

I will be back on Tuesday 19th January with a fabulous Today's Special Value and the launch of a three-day event featuring dimensional crafting, rubber stamping, stickers and stencils. A very exciting week, not to be missed.

Behind the scenes on the making of my DVD

Thought you might like a little insight into the preparation for filming my DVD, our Craft Day Today's Special Value.

We had a fun two days with so much preparation. All of my team were involved and it actually took a few weeks to prepare all of the cards and demonstrations but hopefully you will find that it was all worthwhile.

The DVD focuses on stamps, stickers and stencils with a section on backgrounds too. It runs for around 200 minutes! I just couldn't stop talking, you know me!

I really have tried to pack it with all the latest products and techniques to inspire you. Leonie and Amy join me to craft and JJ also pops in for a little cameo appearance along with my dogs and pygmy goats.

I really hope you enjoy it and would love to know what you think.
