Counting down the minutes to the big launch!!

Apple iPad miniHiya, there's a real stir of excitement in the building right now!

I'm thrilled to be launching our Apple Today's Special Value this Saturday evening (20th July) at midnight.

It's our very first Apple TSV and it's the iPad mini.

I've been an Apple user for nearly 20 years. The name is iconic and renowned for its ease of use, build quality and outstanding reliability.

The mini is fabulous and really compact but with a punchy 7.9" display…. You'll be able to browse the app store which has hundreds of thousands of apps on offer!

Now, being QVC we've secured a great package with around £200 of added value!

I'll be on air with the brilliant Lee Hohbein.

Hope you can join us…. let the countdown commence!

Take care,

Charlie x

P.S… Normal blogs will resume next week!

Hi Charlie – I can see you are an Apple enthusiast – I have an laptop currently but am in need of upgrade. Also have got into using Indesign and PremierPro recently and am thinking when comes to upgrade Apple is the way to go. I would just be interested in your views on why go Apple and not Windows8? I am not a touch screen fan – I hate people touching my screen – so that part of Windows8 does not appeal but I am interested in knowing from a keen user why you think Mac is best.. thanks Sarah

Hello Sarah and thanks for getting in touch.
I do love apple and have been a user for the last twenty years or so. I am also a windows PC user. I haven’t used indesign or premier pro before.
I’ve used apple for audio and video editing on a professional level. You’ll find both apple and pc devotees in the world of computing. Its what you prefer at the end of the day. The best advice I can give is to go to an apple store and have a ‘play!’ You’ll find the staff to be really helpful and friendly and you’ll have a hands on experience with the mac book pro, iMac and mac air.
I’ve always had an affinity with apple from my days in a recording studio. Having said all that, I’m a pc user too!
    Kind regards
