Well, all of a sudden presenters are getting rather competitive with one another! Thompson and Morgan have invited each of us to grow some Lilies for them to judge towards the end of July.
We've been provided with everything we need…. the lilies, compost, and a pot (pictured!)
I was chatting with Richard Jackson and apparently some of my peers have been asking his expert advice! I'd better keep my lilies under close guard just in case sabotage is on the agenda!
We'll keep you posted on twitter and our blogs. I'm no expert gardener but I'm assured they're easy to grow. Any advice is greatly welcomed (but don't tell the others!!)
Speaking of twitter, do enter my Destination Gems comp if you can. Closing date to win this gorgeous 'Rose de France' is the 11th June. Click here for full terms. It's a lot of fun – simply post or tweet me a picture of you wearing a favourite piece of QVC jewellery. Good luck!
It's been a busy time at home and on the subject of gardening the puppies are doing a great job of digging up the lawn which now resembles a miniature golf course!
It's also been very busy at QVC. I thought you might enjoy some more behind the scenes photos. This time we're in the presenters area. Dale, Julian and I share the one dressing room. It's surprisingly tidy and just incase we forget which room we're in our photos are positioned beside the door (very showbiz!)
I tend to arrive 3 to 4 hours before going on air. Depending on the nature of the show will determine how early. I'll often lock myself away in our room piled high with paperwork prepping and researching the shows coming up. There'll always be a snack to hand and a refreshing herbal tea! If I get a moment I'll chill out on the lounger (pictured) and see what's happening on air. Do you recognise the hand in the Honora show!?
Before going on air I need to ensure I've eaten (have I mentioned before how much I enjoy my food lol!). This burger from our canteen is delicious… Piri-Piri chicken in a bun with some salad and potatoes…. Infact I've ordered this again whilst writing my blog!
I'll leave you this week with a picture of Bramble, looking surprisingly innocent, having just dug another hole in the garden!
