Throughout May on QVC we’ve been running our spring/summer Jewellery Month. But just because May is coming to a close, that doesn’t mean we’re forgetting about all that glitters as we step into June and the high summer.
In fact, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was still going, given the amount of shows we’ve got to look forward to.
At the beginning of the month we’re launching our latest Jewellery Icon from Lola Rose. The Greenwich is a new bracelet design that combines beautiful faceted quartzite beads with a strip of petite metallic rondelle rings, and a convenient Chinese knot fastening in colour-matched cord to ensure a perfect fit whatever your wrist size.
Its skinny profile is great for fashionable wristwear stacking, and the choice of colours also means you can mix brights with pastels, another trend for this year. Tune in on 3rd June at 3pm to see more of this.
On June 7th we’re launching a new range of premium gemstone jewellery, the Zawadi Sapphire Collection, at 6pm. Each design combines rich 9 carat gold with these exceedingly rare and totally natural gemstones, mined only in Kenya.
Zawadi Sapphire is a stunning, opaque gemstone characterized by an attractive bronze, golden sheen that shimmers across the gem’s dark chocolate body colour. Aptly named (‘Zawadi’ is Swahili for ‘gift from the earth’), it was only discovered in 2010 and it has taken over 18 months to perfect techniques to transform the raw stones into polished pieces ready for use in jewellery. We can’t wait to share pictures that really do them justice with you.
We’re also launching a new line of gold jewellery towards the end of the month. The Gold Room will have its premiere show on June 26th, with British jewellery designer Caroline Creba (pictured) joining us on screen to discuss the designs.
The philosophy behind this new line is that jewellery should be worn everyday as ‘part of you’ rather than attention-grabbing pieces in their own right. Using 9 carat gold as the core material, these pieces will last the test of time, creating modern heirlooms to keep and treasure forever.
Bianca will be back for their second visit after a riotously popular premiere show earlier this year, bringing with them a host of new designs. As before, each is crafted in sterling silver with a bright white platinum finish, and an unmistakeably Italian sense of style. Their packed three-hour show on the 22nd will feature over 20 new products, but we expect them all to sell like hot cakes (just like last time)… so tune in or risk missing out!
And there’s loads more, including shows celebrating Links of London‘s 4th anniversary on QVC (19th & 20th June), and a Diamonique Spectacular with three hours of our signature jewellery brand (29th June, 9pm).
So really, with QVC it really is like Jewellery Month never ends…
