Clogau Gold’s Julian Roberts on tomorrow’s TSV

Julian Roberts One of the wonderful things about working for Clogau Gold is getting to see what goes on behind the scenes. The effort that goes into each piece of Clogau is pretty amazing, not just in the painstaking hand-craftsmanship but also the thought and meaning behind the designs.

Take our new Tree of Life ring as an example, which is going to be the Today's Special Value item tomorrow.

There are three intertwined bands of 9 carat gold – two rose gold designs on the outside and a yellow gold band running through the middle. Each of those bands represents something different about your life – love, health and happiness. With little twists and turns, stops and starts, each band represents your own personal evolution through life.

It's one of those rings that you could stare at all day long and never get tired of appreciating. Its beauty, detail and meaning are stunning. It has such significance and impact – everyone who sees it goes "wow!"

As soon as you hold it, you are immediately struck by how substantial it feels. It has that reassuring weighty feel that lets you know that you're wearing a genuinely high quality piece of jewellery that is as solid as it is beautiful.

As with every piece of Clogau Gold, each ring contains a touch of one of the most sought-after and expensive golds on earth – rare Welsh gold from the Snowdonia mountains. This is actually the same gold that has been used in generations of Royal Family wedding rings - since 1921 in fact.

I hope you will cherish it!

I just love, love Clogau. I have the daffodil and dragon charms, the dragon pendant and two rings, one of them being the Cariad ring (which I have because my black cat is named Cariad, although she came before the ring so I just HAD to have it when it came on air!) The prices at QVC are very reasonable for the heritage and quality, and it also helps if the items are on easy pay which a couple of my purchases were. They are cheaper than in many of the jewellery shops in Cardiff!
