I am thrilled to say that singer/songwriter Beverley Craven has confirmed she will be performing live at The Show. Beverley has herself experienced a diagnosis of breast cancer and we are delighted that she has chosen to support The Show and the models this year.
I also can confirm that ‘Loose Women’ and GMTV presenter Andrea McLean will be hosting the afternoon tea!
As I mentioned before, I will be there on the night along with other QVC presenters and some of our special guests as we will be filming the fashion show ready for our Be Aware Show You Care programme the week after. It’s such a lovely, inspiring event with entertainment and prizes galore.
Speaking of prizes, as a hint to those of you who are considering attending the afternoon event, all guests will receive a goody bag packed full of products including treats from QVC!
So don’t miss your chance to enjoy a great event whilst supporting the models on their catwalk debut. For more information on the event and also some lovely quotes from the 2009 models visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk/theshow
I hope to see you there!
P.S. Do you have any goodies that you would be willing to donate for the evening lucky dip prizes? We’ve had some great ones already. It might be that you know of a company that might supply some goodies – it all helps to raise money on the night.
Let me know if you can and I’ll email you back.
Lots of love
Claudia

Dear Claudia
Thank you for all the marvellous energy, time and effort you have put in to raise awareness and cash for the Breast Cancer Care charity.
I was recently diagnosed with BC and the helpline - forums - information and printed materials that Breast Cancer Care have provided me with has been a real godsend.
I came into this with so little knowledge and BCC has helped me so much to try to understand what is happening to me and also providing me contact with other BC girls who I can relate to. Their support is phenonemal.
I had surgery on 6 August and I get the results of the tests tonight and I will be straight on to BCC to make some sense of it all.
Hope you and your family are tip top, love your blog. Lyn xxx

Dearest Lyn
I have been anxiously thinking of how your results have been for you. I do hope they are ok, and that you are ok in yourself too. Its good to hear you have been receiving support from BCC, they truly want to help.
If you would like to write to me please do but whatever you decide, know that you are in my prayers this week and that with friends and family well informed you will come through.
God bless you and hope to speak soon.
