Christmas, New Year and everything in between!

Beverly Cressman, floor manager Chloe and Craig enjoy a bit of Christmas fun in the QVC studioHello and a very happy New Year!

How are you? Really hope you had a good festive break – whether you were working or had time off. I had a wonderful mix of both.

Just thought I'd share with you what I've been up to, and in the interests of not going on for reams and reams, I'll keep it punchy and tell my story in pictures and video!

Jasmine and Craig with the Christmas treeSo, after a fantastic Christmas Eve show at QVC, (as you can see in the pic above of me, Beverly Cressman and floor manager Chloe!), I headed to Bristol where I spent the rest of the day and evening with my sister and niece Jasmine.

Then on Christmas Day it was on to Cornwall to join the Raine family for lunch – click on the video to see them playing the bells of the Julian Reed crackers with me conducting, totally hilarious!  The video is only 10 minutes long, but believe me, it took 2 hours to get to that point!!

After a couple of days of lovely country walks and chilling out in Cornwall, it was back to QVC for the 'in-betweeny' bit. This is where I finally caught up with all the Christmas cards!! I know, I slightly missed the mark here, so in fact I sent out New Year cards!

Craig writes his New Year cardsYou can see me in this picture working my way through the cards that were kindly sent to me (thank you!) and writing cards out to send in return. Some of these were even handmade by me earlier in the year.

Also whilst I was back at QVC I got to host both Quacker shows on the 29th with the wonderful Jenny Pickering, such fun! I love hosting Quacker, Jenny Pickering and Craigall those colours and sparkle – you can't help but smile!

Whilst I was home for a few night I also was trying out the Cozee Home duvet set – it was a Today's Special Value, and some options are still in stock, if you're quick! Wow, how soft and how warm!! I chose the taupe to go with my Kelly Hoppen throw as you can see in the photo!

Then with New Year beckoning it was off to the Craig's Cozee Home duvet set and Kelly Hoppen throwBuckinghamshire countryside to spend the new year with friends. Another wonderful 3 days with country walks, long pub lunches by a roaring fire and a fabulous New Year party in a beautiful converted barn with dancing 'til 4am!!

In the photos you can see me, Stuart and Angel out walking, warming up by the fire and even cuddling a Great Dane!

I've also popped in this video of the fireworks that were let off at the party I was at on New Year's Eve – they were amazing, watch 'til the end and you will hear a big scre am from someone as they felt so close!!

So, there we have it, end of one year and start of another one!! How was yours and what are your plans for this year? I'd love to know, please post a comment below, and if you're on Twitter, please follow me @CraigroweTV.

Lots of love and here's to a great 2012!

    Hi Craig
Love ready your blog!! Have to say though you were a bit of a wus with the fireworks – but saying that I come from Lewes in East Sussex which has a bit of a thing for fireworks on the 5th of November so am probably immune to them!!! Happy New Year to you and hope to see you loads and loads on QVC!!!

    Hi Craig
Just watched your videos from Xmas and New Year. Your bell orchestra was fantastic. Puzzled as to what you were drinking in the wine glasses, it seemed to be white liquid? Love watching you on QVC, you cheer me up. Happy New Year

    Great to hear from you.
What can I say, a good orchestra is only as good as its conductor!! Hehe! :-)
I think it was wine we were drinking but yes the light makes it look funny doesn’t it? I started on bucks fizz at midday so think I had drank myself sober by the middle of the afternoon!
    How was yours?
    Happy new year Pauline!
