Yet another week has flown by at QVC. Many thanks to all who entered the competition last week and congratulations to our winner. I have more competitions and prizes in the not too distant future which I think you’ll love. It will probably be early November which we will rename Winvember! Next time we’ll ensure you can enter the competition on my blog. I’m also hoping I’ll be able to source some more jewellery for a future prize too!
If you read my blog regularly you’ll know how I often mention how time seems to be flying by right now. However, this year seems to have gone really quickly. Maybe it’s from either working slightly unusual shifts – where one day rolls into the next – having children, or I’m just getting older! Perhaps a combination of all three!
I can’t believe how close Christmas is starting to feel now. Have you bought any gifts yet? I have and it’s a nice feeling to find that perfect gift for some one special. If you are ordering from QVC and it is a gift for Christmas I’m pleased to say we have now extended our money back guarantee to the 25th January 2015 for the gifts you buy. It will hopefully give you added peace of mind and also the recipient too!
The weather has definitely turned hasn’t it? I do love the changing seasons – however my two little Cairns really couldn’t care what’s happening with the weather, as long as they can head out for a run and a chase. If they happen to see a squirrel climbing a tree, well that’s a bonus! Wind, rain or shine they’re always happy to go for a walk… As am I.
Very little fazes my two Cairns, unless they happen to see a cat (or squirrel) and then they are leaping and bounding with joy! I’m also relieved to say that fireworks are no problem for them either. I took the advice of a dog trainer and bought a CD full of sound effects for them to become a custom to. It’s worked a treat.
The one sound that does terrify them though and really gives them the shakes is the smoke alarm. When we test the alarm I make sure they’re well out of ear shot and I’m now more careful than ever to not burn the toast! Perhaps it’s the frequency and pitch of the alarm that bothers them so much?
Having two mischievous Cairns means the home is prone to the occasional stray pet hair as well as the usual dust, dirt and debris… And that’s just from me!
Well, I’m thrilled to see I’m launching the Dyson Todays Special Value – this coming Tuesday 21st October at midnight. The Dyson DC59 Animal Cordless. I’ve a previous model from this range and boy it performs fantastically. I really hope you can join me.
In the meantime… I think I’ll plan some more Christmas shopping and I hope to be securing more prizes very soon.
