Beauty collections to give this Christmas

October may have only just begun, but (sorry – we can’t help it) we’re already getting excited for Christmas. Of course, that may be something to do with all the amazing beauty buys that have been flitting across our desks, ready to go online and on-air for your perusal over the next few months.

In particular, we have seen some gorgeous collections that we know you will love. There’s something for everyone, from mums to dads, sisters to best friends, your difficult-to-please cousin or even the aunt that you never know what to buy. There are also ideal gifts for prospective mother/daughter-in-laws, if you’re keen to make a good impression!

PicMonkeyBenefit Collage

For fun-loving make-up aficionados and die-hard Benefit fans, these vibrant kits will be at the top of their list! Show you know exactly what they’ll love with this choice of make-up kits, blusher and lips sets, or fragrance collection.

Philip Kingsley Floral Bag Group

We all know someone who dreams of longer, glossier hair (okay, fine – yes that’s us). Anyway – why not treat them to this Philip Kingsely set, with five top products to help introduce them to the amazing haircare range – they’re sure to thank you for it for Christmases to come!

Philosophy 209613

This Philosophy set comprises four beautiful fragrances, including two of their signature Grace scents, and all in pretty Christmas packaging. Give as a set, or why not split up for stocking fillers? Big brownie points for Santa!

We also have these great Dazzle Duos from Leighton Denny, plus collections from tarte, Josie Maran and L’Occitane – again the perfect stocking fillers (you could split the larger collections up), gift for a friend, or a much-better-than-a-mug-again secret Santa gift?

We’re not sure you’ll be able to part with this Elemis set, but if you can tear yourself away from it, friends, mums and aunts will be so thrilled you did! It includes the best-selling Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and much more – again a great set for Elemis fans, or to introduce someone to the brand (because you know they’re going to love it).

Liz Earle Collage

Meanwhile, if they’re notoriously tricky to buy for, Liz Earle have created some gorgeous sets for guys and girls in pretty branded Christmas packaging.

Excitingly, we have a brand new launch coming on 22nd November (Santa couldn’t have timed it better himself!) – Shay & Blue are boutique London perfumers with a range of divine, delactable scents. It was tough, but we’ve picked out this Precious Miniatures Collection – perfect for doling out as stocking fillers (although with it’s gorgeous presentation box it is an ideal present for the fragrance connoisseur, and again a great way to experience the brand for the first time).

Of course, we couldn’t resist sharing our absolute favourite scent with you – Salt Caramel. Inspired by Charbonnel et Walker’s (chocolatier to the Queen!) Sea Salt Caramel Truffles, this rich and indulgent fragrance includes tops notes of glossy caramel, with a heart and base of sea salt, tonka bean and sandalwood. Perfect for those who adore spicy tones with a sweet edge – and ideal for this time of year as well.

And speaking of gorgeous scents, Molton Brown have some stunning (as per usual) Christmas scents in their hand wash and creams, as well as their body washes and lotions. Our favourites have to be the Frankincense & Allspice, and the Ough Accord & Gold too. And look at these inventive baubles, filled with classic Molton Brown scents. We’re definitely going to be hanging a few ‘surprises’ on the tree this year!MB Collage

Philosophy also have items to hang from the tree, while other inventive packaging comes from Margaret Dabbs and Nails Inc – again, no wrapping required! It’s also great way to add an elegant finishing touch to pulling the crackers during Christmas dinner (plus no questionable toys that nobody wants).

You can also explore our revamped Fragrance Quiz – we’ve updated it with Christmassy questions, and you can take it for either yourself (and then get dropping those hints!) or on behalf of a friend, which will help you figure out what they’re bound to love.

And finally, make sure to visit our Christmas Beauty Gift Shop where we’ve divided gifts up by price and type – making ticking off your to-buy-for list easier than ever before!

I recently bought some gorgeous diamonique earrings which came in a plastic packet such a shame as they see for a Christmas gift. I wish qvc would provide particularly for jewellery, gift boxes or offer customers the choice to purchase a gift box at a nominal extra cost.
