Cherry Blossom Jade jewellery – our buyers’ picks

We love jewellery here at QVC, especially those ranges that have a certain special something or a unique twist or story. We are delighted to announce the arrival of Cherry Blossom Jade, a fine jewellery collection crafted from 9 carat gold which is inspired by traditional Chinese symbols and motifs. Set with gemstones including jade, peridot and diamonds, this stunning collection offers beautiful jewellery with meaning and symbolism behind every design.

We asked our gemset jewellery buyer Clare for her top picks from the new range…

609192 - five fortune ring

Yellow gold and diamond Five Fortune ring

I LOVE this design and want to wear it on my pinky finger as a twist on the traditional Signet ring. I think the styling feels very high end and unusual. In Chinese culture this Five Fortune pattern refers to longevity, wealth, health, virtue, and the desire to die a natural death in old age.

609188 - double happiness ring

Green jade and white topaz Double Happiness ring
I think everybody has something or someone in their lives that this design could symbolise. The Double Happiness character has represented love, happiness and luck, and has evolved into part of the social custom for the Chinese wedding. The trend for rose gold continues to dominate the jewellery market, I think the colour contrast between this and the green Jade is really beautiful.

609196 - Diamond Lavender Jade pendant

White gold, diamond and lavender jade teardrop pendant

Whenever I think of jade I think of the deep emerald hue that is showcased in much of the Cherry Blossom collection, however this gorgeous lavender shade really caught my eye. It is so unusual and we wanted to focus on the stone, keeping the design simple and elegant. I think the simplicity of the teardrop cabochon cut works really well here, and the colour is complemented by the diamond accent.

We are seeing so much in the way of personalisation within the jewellery market and this design really speaks to the trend. I am the year of the Monkey (my husband agrees this is very apt!) and I am looking forward to wearing this piece everyday, layered with another personalised favourite, a disk pendant with my initial engraved on it. I love expressing who I am through the jewellery I wear.

Be sure to tune in this Sunday 15th September to see the full range and more.
