Chatting to Paul Hansford from Thompson & Morgan

Paul Hansford I recently caught up with Paul Hansford, the Managing Director of Thompson & Morgan, in his beautiful garden to get his tips on planting and gardening for the summer months.

Make sure you watch the video for some hints and tips on your bedding plants!

    Hello Richard,
Last year, I bought a set of 5 Oleander bushes. I wasn’t sure what to do with them at the end of the year, so I pruned them! This year, so far, they are just sticks with some dead leaves still on them.
I have been trying to talk to you for weeks now, but a lovely young lady in the Customer Care Dept., called Jackie, suggested that I could contact you this way. I am a pensioner and not very computer literate!!
I would appreciate any suggestions that you might have to restore these beautiful bushes.
I have already fed them with your Flower Power and have kept the slugs and snails away with your Slugs & Snail Control. Also, I am saving for your Grass feed as I have made a real mess of my front lawn by using Evergreen Weed & Feed that I had from last year. I am just in the process of raking out all the dead patches of moss and re-seeding, but it (after 8 days) nothing is showing through on the 90% of lawn that I have done so far. Will your Lawn Feed help with this problem? I have given them 3 lots of Miracle Gro lawn feed, but nothing so far – I should have bought your product, but I was in the Garden Centre and was getting desperate to do something quickly!
I love watching your enthusiasm about plants as I have the same love of them.
I look forward to receiving your help. With kindest regards.
    Pat Crawley (Mrs)
