Hello, hope you've enjoyed the month of May so far! It's very 'British' to write and talk about the weather so I won't labour the point too much!
We did a day trip to the Isle of Wight on Saturday to see Mum and Dad. The weather was pretty miserable but the brisk walk along Ryde seafront was really uplifting. Despite the odd burst of drizzle and rain, the strong breeze and rolling waves were truly invigorating.

Hello! Hope you're having a great week. Let's not mention the weather, let's simply pretend its glorious sunshine outside.
Oh, while I remember, I heard on the radio a couple of days that men's ears never stop growing... Is this true!!!?? And if so, why not women's ears? Strange!
Well, the clear-out of my dressing room continues! I came across this photo recently of when I was young... very young! My son was surprised when he saw the photo, he said he didn't realise that colour photos were possible 'back then!'

Hello! Hope your week has been great. It's been so busy here at QVC. I loved every minute of Gem Day and I have a cracking weekend on the way too, which I'll come onto in a minute.
Firstly, I'm so pleased (and relieved) to say Dad's operation was a great success. He's up, moving around already, although he's under strict instructions to take things easy. I won't take him rock climbing with the kids just yet!

Hello, hope you've had a great week. Are you working off all those calories from all the Easter eggs? I'm not!
Our changeable climate really can't seem to make up its mind right now! I was lucky to capture a snap of this dramatic sky a few days ago with blazing sunshine in the foreground.
It created the most unusual atmosphere. Then, a few minutes later, huge hail stones began to fall, much to the excitement of my daughter who'd never seen them before!

Hello, hope your Easter Holidays have been fun!
I've enjoyed a few days off work. I spent some time in Somerset and then wizzed over to the Isle of Wight to see Mum and Dad. I came back home with a fabulous fruit cake my Dad made, which is out of this world!
Now here's a question... where do teaspoons go?!! We are down to our last two at home now, one of which has an extra long handle so isn't even from the original set of six! Is there a secret void in the sink which they disappear into? It's a bit of a puzzle. I'm pretty certain they haven't left the house as we have a plastic set for picnics and pack lunches.

Hello and Happy Easter!
I'm writing this from home and I'm now thinking about chocolate... There are lots of Easter eggs piled high in the kitchen for family and friends and I'm very, very tempted! I'd better leave the house after I've written this!
I need to discipline myself when chocolate is about! There is something really delicious about a chocolate Easter egg, especially with a cold glass of milk in the other hand... I'd better keep writing, I'm getting distracted!

Hello,
WOW, this weather is astonishing! It's been another busy week for me here at QVC, and at home.
I cut the grass for the first time last week, played tennis over the weekend (my son seems to be thrashing me these days!) and have been having a play with the fabulous TSV coming up this weekend!

Hello!
Love the new ride at Thorpe Park! It's called SWARM and it's their latest attraction.
Thorpe Park isn't too far away from us so we tend to go there fairly often. I'll never forget our day trip last year when my daughter had the day off school.

Hello! We're well into March and I am loving the feeling of spring! In fact were celebrating spring in style here at QVC, I'll come onto that in a moment.
This is rapidly becoming a favourite past time of mine - indoor climbing. I'd never thought about taking it up until I saw just how much my children love it. It's very addictive (and tiring!).

Hello, It's been quite a week here at QVC.
So busy, it's been great! A real highlight was meeting and interviewing the Military Wives on Monday. Such an inspiration - if you missed the performance and interview just click here!
I bumped into Dale on Wednesday. That's the only day of the week we're in work together. I mentioned in an earlier blog how we'll be sharing a dressing room at QVC's new premises.
