Charlie, you are by far the best jewellery presenter on QVC. You always show the jewellery, particularly the rings, from all angles – before they are shown on the finger. This is very important, much more so than simply being put on to the finger immediately. Keep up the good work and the enthusiasm. from Patricia,

A while ago I saw you presenting a set of games discs for the p.c. You were having a half-hearted attempt at the age-old game of solitaire – you know, the one with pegs! Well, my Mother showed me how to do it right to the end when I was about 8yrs old. I got one of these big ones from my Husband some forty odds years later and remembered the sequence of “jumps”. I’ve since taught a number of people in about five minutes flat and even a number of children have found it simple to learn. It does spoil the game a bit, knowing how to do it, but the smug satisfaction is big enough to compensate. Elinor

    Hi Charlie
Was delighted to see the picture of your teddy as I have one just like it,..or at least he was once! He has been very loved and has listened to all my troubles over the years hence the stuffing is coming out of his feet and hands and one of his ears is a bit unstitched. He needs some TLC do Charile bears know of a bear hospital where they can help him feel like his old self? I live in Hertfordshire and need to help my oldest friend, glad to see yours looking so healthy. Great presenting by the way

Charlie, Listen to yor hairdresser! as a proffesional stylist for over 26 years I totally agree with her advise. As you wear your hair relitavely short you would be having your hair cut about every three weeks which would mean your hair colour would need re-doing at the same time. Ladies can get away with leaving touch up hair colour for 4 to 6 weeks. Men do not age when their hair greys honest! why not try a slightly different style although its great as it is, but maybe you just need a wee chane for a while. Fiona.

    Hi Charlie,
I just wanted to thank you for dropping off your kiddies toys at our shop, The shooting Star charity shop, in Ashford Middx. We spoke when you came in with all your daughters out-grown toys back in October, I told you I was an avid QVC-er, and love the prods. The reason Im getting in touch, is, as we are a charity, would you be kind enough to ask around with all the other presenters and ask if they would have a turn out, and pass on any children’s clothing, toys, books, bikes or skates they no longer use or need, and if possible, either get over to the shop, or if there’s quite a bit, we can organise a couple of ladies with their cars, at an agreed meeting place. All donations raise money for children in need, 365 days a year. Any contributions would be gratefully received and assist a really good cause, it could be your child or mine, or grandchild, children in this country, in need.
Many thanks for reading this, and hope you and all the guys can assist.
Many many thanks, have a great Christmas, and keep sourcing fantastic products for confirmed viewers, like me.
    Best regards,
    Josie Collard

I hope you didn’t get hurt when you fall off your chair the other day…I think if the lovely model (Sally?) laughed we wouldn’t have noticed that you disappeared as the camera was away from you! I felt for you because you did say you were very tired and hungry and that just proved it, we need our rest and food :-)

Your presentation with the Vacuum cleaner and the poor lady was really funny. You cracked up and she said “never again, would she work with you”. The vacuumn cannister opened and went all on the floor, and it would not pickup at the end! You both handled yourselves proffessionally and I have looked at that segment numerous times and don’t get tired of it.

i used to know this very well known british actress who would never, ever throw food away. her son was very young at the time and when she was out working one time the nanny starting throwing out yoghurts that were a couple of weeks out.
that’s not too bad except i had a look through the cupboards and found a packet of ground coffee that was EIGHT YEARS out. i threw it in the bin, only to find a week later that it had ‘leapt’ back into the cupboard! ew!

Hello Charlie, we do visit and read and watch! Especially when you are presenting Charlie Bears and misbehaving with William with Charlie doing the refereeing. I hope that you and your family have a great year in 2010 and that your combined bear collection grows and grows. It’s so addictive! Why, when you have a houseful of bears, does another one pick you to be it’s friend? I still can’t work it out but I love my lot which do include Charlie Bears!

Just heard you comment that you don,t get many hits, that doesen,t mean no one loves you, i think you are great when you are on fashion, you are so calm, no shouting or speaking so fast, more so when you are on K/C, somwtimes my husband won,t have it on as it,s far too loud and fast, however when you,r on it,s much better. As for you loving sleep my son is the same, when he was young he would sleep standing up he is now 40yrs an s still loves sleeping.
Keep up the good work you are (ALONG WITH jULIA) the best.

Hi Charlie – it’s been a few years since Birthday People and Westcountry TV! What a sad demise that was. Went to lunch with Karen S a few weeks ago.
Imogen has a little boy now so I am a granny and Max and his partner are expecting in July … so I’ll be a double granny!!! It’s amazing how we both don;t seem to age though :o)
I live in a village in SE Cornwall and absolutely love it.
It was such fun to work with you … remember when you were carried away by a flock of sheep? That was so funny!!!

    Hi Charlie,
I’m relatively new to qvc and really enjoy watching you host the jewellery shows as you are obviously very passionate about gem stones. I love jewellery and the Diamonique range has allowed me to get some stunning pieces to add to my collection. I’ve bought a few pieces now (earrings are my signature look)and feel really good wearing them. I wonder if QVC would consider making cameo jewellery? or faceted moonstone pieces? I find they are both difficult to come by! If I ever find a faceted moonstone piece I’ll let you know. Keep up the great work. Thanks!

Hi Charlie. I do envy your connections with the Isle Of Wight. I had many happy holidsys there with my late hubby, and have wonderful pictures, and very fond memories. We used to stay st Shanklin, such a pretty little place. I like scones like yourself. I found it so funny the day I texted you and said about the little shop opposite Godshill car park, that sell scrummy home made scones, and you said, you had all left your Dad sitting there, and he was totally alone asleep by the time you got back to him. I wonder if you will ever get your Cashmasoft top? Cashmasoft is beautiful, I have at least 5 tops, and with Cashmasoft coming up in the near future, I dare say I shall be adding to my collection. Take care. Love Brenda

Loved the Diamond Show with you and Dale – everyone did. You gave us such a good laugh. You’re great together and we’d like a repeat performance – perhaps a Diamonique special with the lovely Kathryn, too. Maybe you could wangle star billing next time, or is Dale mentioned first because he’s older?!!
Keep up the good work – you can sell me anything!

    Hi Charlie,
You was on the other night when Ganetta was on air.
She passed a comment about ‘haunting, depressing music’ that is themed for the Veronese jewellery.
May I suggest two songs: one being Malafemena- this is about a women who wants material things. There’s nothing like Veronese to keep a women happy, husbands and partners alike because of the affordability of the beautiful designs. Second song, Regina Mari (I have but one Heart).
Please get rid of the music it is boring and depressing and us Italians, love romance with fire and passion, our music normally portrays this.

    Hi Charlie,
Love your shows alway well presented. A few years ago 2008 I think I bought hidden hearts the lovely ring you designed. A beautiful ring and as our wedding anniversary was coming up I said to my husband I’d like that as a present, thinking I’d have it for years to come and could pass on to my family. Unfortunately while on holiday I noticed one of the round cut sapphires was missing I was most disappointed and even more disappointed that I could not send it back to QVC to get it repaired or even get the name of the jeweller so that I could ask them if they could repair it for me. I don’t expect to get it repaired for free although the price I payed I don’t think it should have happened in the first place. Sad to say but I will be buying real stone rings from now on at a jewellers and not QVC. I will now have to trail round jewellers to see if I can get a stone too match.
    Will still enjoy your shows.
    Kind regards

Hi Charlie, have bought 2 pairs of the wonderful DQ stud ear rings for birthday presents, but was very disappointed that the presenation boxes, that were sent were for necklaces and did not present the ear rings well. Having contacted the wonderful customer care team they have refunded the p&p of £4.42. Do you have the proper ear ring boxes and could i purchase 2 boxes. If you can help this would be greatly apprecated. Many thanks.
