Cairn terrier on the mattress

Sleeping on the Job!

It feels like it was only yesterday I was writing my last blog. The week has flown by.

Details of a fabulous Today’s Special Value offer coming up and competition info too.

Snoozing Cairn terrier on the grass

I now have an extra hour on my hands every week! What am I going to do with the time?! One of my favourite TV programmes has come to an end. The Mentalist :-(

Did you watch it? I don’t watch huge amounts of TV but Patrick Jane and the team at the FBI was a weekly ‘can’t be missed’ programme for me.

Now, if the BBC gets rid of Casualty my TV viewing will be in tatters! Having said that I’m enjoying catching up with lots of episodes I missed of Spooks on Netflix at the moment.

If someone said, 20 years ago that one day you’ll be able to catch up on your favourite TV shows on a hand held screen I think we’d have raised a few eyebrows!

Cairn terrier on the grass sunshine

Thought I’d share a couple of pictures with you this week of my Cairns loving the sunshine in the garden. It’s been a little warm for them on occasions so we’ve favoured early morning walks to avoid the rising temperatures. The weather took quite a turn yesterday and through the night we were hit with strong winds and rain. No damage to talk of but a few stray branches in the garden which look as though they’ve landed in the very spot where my dogs love to lie and snooze… They won’t be happy!

On the subject of snoozing, it’s true I’m sleeping on the job again!

I’m launching the Magniflex Today’s Special Value this Tuesday 12th May at midnight. This isn’t my first experience of the brand but when asked to try out the TSV… I couldn’t resist.

Magniflex mattress 803917

Made in Italy, Magniflex mattresses are like no other mattress I’ve slept on before. They’re incredible. The level of comfort and support they give me is superb. It arrives rolled up but when un-wrapped it really starts to take shape… literally!

The technology in the mattress is remarkable. It has a ‘pillow top’ construction making the layer you sleep on incredibly comfortable. The bottom layers are the more supportive foams that adapt to your body for support. The removable cover can be dry-cleaned and the Coolmax layer helps regulate temperature and wick-away moisture. The underneath of the cover is also lined with Silver thread which is known for its anti-bacterial qualities.

I have nothing but admiration for Magniflex. They are so passionate about giving you a better night’s sleep. I do hope you can join me and Stefano. It really is worth a try and of course you have your money back guarantee!

Oh, by the way… Cairn terrier not included!

Black pearl necklace

On another note of luxury, how would you like to be in with a chance of winning this beautiful strand of pearls? It’s about 2m in length which makes it so versatile. Details on how to enter next week!

In the meantime, I think I’d better move the branches from the garden followed by an afternoon snooze perhaps!

It’s always fun to hear from you and I’m on twitter as well @mecharliebrook

Take care and see you soon.

Hello Hilly, thanks for getting in touch. What a lovely name for a Cairn. Peppy! It’s so hard the loss of a pet. They become such a big part of our lives and we theirs too. You can probably tell how much I adore my two cairns!
    Angel and Gucci sound wonderful.
    Best wishes

Hello Mandy, I’d love to know his name. I don’t know many people who have Cairn Terriers. You don’t see them that often. I adore the breed, right now my two are lazing in the garden staring at a pigeon in a tree!
    Take care
