I hope all’s well and I also hope you’ve all been enjoying the glorious weather been having, we were particularly happy it decided to stay fine on Saturday as our close joined in with The Jo Cox Great Get Together. Neighbours and family came together with bunting, food and music and it was a really lovely day. Even Ellie and Toby came out to join in and gratefully received titbits from the various barbecues!
Both Ali and Jack are home from uni now for the summer, so we all spent a lovely family day together on Father’s Day. They’ve treated me to a day’s crickets at Lords and as we are all cricket fans they of course will be joining me – believe it or not it’s my first test match – the only slight concern is that it’s Day 4 of the Test and in modern cricket the game’s often won by then! Fingers crossed! Looking at the photo – my hair looks radioactive!
With all this sunshine my trusty Ultrasun is always in my pocket – I know I mention it every blog but I am happy to as for me it’s brilliant – as I always say I’m a huge fan of the “Sport” range but I’ve been using the “Face” range and it also agrees with my skin too – If you haven’t already – why not give it a try. Talking of taking extra care of our skin in this weather, Mrs F was delighted when I brought home today’s Decleor TSV for her to try… It’s a five-piece set which includes some of her favourites but it also contains the New Hydra Floral Neroli CC Cream which she was keen to try… she loved it and has found it perfect for this hot weather.
The flip-side to the sunny days are the hot evenings – we still have a range of cooling fans such as the Dyson AM06 or the AM08 and AM09! They’re considered purchases but in my opinion well worth a try.
I hope the fine weather stays around as I’m having a few days break from Thursday – lots to do at home in preparation for “The Builders” !! Yes we’re having quite a bit of work done, which no doubt you’ll be hearing about in forthcoming blogs.
Until next time… stay cool and well constructed!… my sign-offs are getting worse 😉
