Celebrating our love of pets… and so much on the way!

MistyHello! Thank you so much to everyone who sent in pictures of their pets which we now celebrate with our 'viewers pet portfolio!'

Aren't they fabulous!!

I've loved meeting all of your pets and learning about them. Thank you! I thought I'd add a picture of Misty to the montage, looking a little unhappy, having just had the removal of a claw which tore badly. Thanks to our wonderful vet who takes amazing care of both our Cairn Terriers.

Isn't it amazing how quickly our pets become such special members of our family? I've mentioned before how I spend a fair bit of time alone at home but I'm alone no more with Misty and Bramble for company! I know for many people who live alone how important a pet is for them. So special!

Well, can you believe December is upon us. Chocolate advent calendar time and also time to bring out some fabulous Christmas decorations I've picked up from QVC over the years. One of which I just love. I'll take a video clip of it and pop it on to my blog soon. It always puts a smile on our face…. It's a tree, with a surprise!

Looking at the December schedule I'm thrilled to see I'm back on air with Lola Rose on the 2nd December at 4pm, followed by an hour of wonderful Liz Earle at 6pm. Do hope you can join me.

In the meantime, I should mention, last weeks mystery picture was the tip of a pencil! We'll bring back guess the picture in my next blog!

Take care and see you soon,

Charlie x

Thanks for posting a picture of my 2 boys, Bertie and Ratchett, they are 9 months old and are growing so quickly, they are Weimaraner/Lab cross hence the big ears , and like your 2 are always getting in to mischief. Ratchett a few weeks ago lost his carpal paw, the one up the back of the leg, he lost 3/4 of it so the vet cut all of it off, he is fine know, hope Misty is ok to.
I think Christmas is going to be interesting this year, what with the tree, presents, lights, hope the boys leave them alone Fingers crossed.

So pleased to see my baby Archie on your blog Charlie. He was as excited as I was putting the Christmas tree up today, wasn’t so keen on the tinsle though!

    Hello Debi,
Thanks for your reply. Well our tree has gone up and we’re having to keep the decorations well out of reach of Misty and Bramble. No matter what toys we present them with they still love to get hold of what they’re not allowed!
Glad Ratchett is feeling better x
    Merry Christmas

    Hii Charlie,
Yay! Lily is on there! Sadly no Christmas decorations up for us as we’ve just ordered a new sofa and hubby has decided he wants to redecorate – suddenly deciding to knock the fireplace out in the process – so mess is in abundance in my house for the foreseeable future.
It’s quite sad that we can’t have our tree up, as, with anyone who knows the English Bull Terrier breed they do something that no other breed does. It’s known either as ghosting or tracing. The dog will go under the leaves of a low tree or bush, then they’ll ever-so subtly ‘Shake’ and move slowly under the tree for a period of a few minutes, they also appear to zone-out. Then they’ll give one big shake and come back into reality. It’s amusing to see them doing this under the Christmas tree, knocking off the baubles and the needles.
I hope Misty feels much better soon and is up to mischief again.
    Merry Christmas!
