I don’t know whether you have given up anything for Lent, but we have the best way to indulge in a feast to celebrate when Easter finally arrives, courtesy of Green Seasons. Our Today’s Special Value offer on Thursday 12th March is a fantastic packed box of high quality British meat – an Easter Meatster box, you might call it!
Mine has arrived early – I haven’t defrosted any in order to cook it yet (although I admit it may not all last until Easter…) so I thought you’d like to see what we get and how it arrives. My polystyrene box was waiting for me when I got home from work last night; inside was a bag of dry ice – still frozen solid – and the meat just as frozen, all ready to pop into the freezer.
The 3.1kg Easter Meats Hamper is all about Quality (for peace of mind) and Convenience, to make it easy for you (our first and last names, of course) – plus our middle name, V for Value, is definitely there too with a price of just under £50 including delivery.
The hamper includes all the delicious meats and trimmings you need for a slap up Easter lunch or dinner. You have succulents joints of turkey, beef and spring lamb with pork sausage meat, streaky bacon and yummy lamb and mint chipolatas in the box as well. All the meat is British-reared and farmed, then hand-picked, cut to order and blast frozen to ensure you receive the tastiest food we can offer you.
I have bought, cooked and devoured Green Seasons produce since they first came to QVC and have enjoyed every morsel. I really believe that we should perhaps eat less meat but ensure what we do eat is of the highest possible quality and traceable in origin. I can leave that to Green Seasons, and all I have to do is cook and enjoy. If you’d like to hear more, including some new recipes from Chef Michael, join Simon and me on Thursday’s Morning Show to see us enjoying a meaty breakfast!
