Cause for celebration

Hi everyone, well there are double celebrations in the Halliday household this week!

Firstly, and most importantly, my son Taylor's arm finally came out of plaster after two very long months. It's not looking too bad although his mobility is very restricted and we have another six gruelling weeks before he can really start to begin to become active again, so he is feeling very fed up, but we have to take the professional advice and minimise any risks.

Secondly, you may remember some months ago we had the great red sofa debate! Well the sofas have arrived and they are bright! I love them and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I promise I'll take some photos next week and you can see what you think.

We have decorated the room quite neutrally with the tiniest hint of peach (much to my director Teresa's horror, "red and peach, urghhh!") but it actually just adds a bit of warmth. I'm now on the look out for red ornaments or little nick nacks to dress the room, so let me know if you see any on your travels.

Speak soon,

Yeeeaaaaahhh well done Taylor! Keep going with what the medical profession says as it does help. Having helped my husband through having broken his right ankle, right shoulder and right arm (not all at the same time and with years in between thank goodness) we know that they may tell you to do things that make you uncomfortable but it does work. So keep going. It will end up alright.
I like the sound of the sofas Jilly. I said go for red and I am so glad that you are pleased with them. It does sound odd having peach and red together but I am sure it works. Brilliant.
    Well done all.
