The buzz of the BAFTAs!

Well the BAFTAs are now only days away and you've probably noticed that Kathy, Daniel and myself are extremely excited about attending.

Kathy will be on the red carpet interviewing the stars and hoping for clement weather! Make sure you tune in on Sunday 26th April at 7pm with Jilly and you'll get a sneak preview of Kathy, the red carpet brigade and some of the stunning jewellery from the Style Suite.

Daniel and I will be soaking up the atmosphere so we'll have lots to tell you on Monday 27th April at 8pm when we'll be bringing you a 3-hour feast of jewellery from the BAFTAs and we'll let you know who wore what and who we shmoozed with!

There was a pre-BAFTA Nominees party held at the Mandarin Oriental, which Kathy and I attended. I saw June Brown from Eastenders, had a great natter with Kathy (we never normally get time) and enjoyed some very scrummylicious hors d'oerves.

I knew if I left without getting a pic on the red carpet (right) and a pic next to the oversized BAFTA (above left) I'd be disappointed so I momentarily abandoned my self-consciousness and went for it.

Only one big embarrassment but luckily it was only witnessed by two people. When I was leaving I decided to ask the doorman to take this pic of me on the red carpet. I promptly tripped over a tiny step on the edge of the carpet as one woman nearby looked on in disgust. I think she thought I'd had one too many! I hadn't! Maybe one too many hors d'oerves but not the bubbles.

Who do you most want to win an award? I adore David Mitchell and Robert Webb, and, of course, Eastenders to name a couple.
