Spillage on Sony tablet

It’s Technology and You time!

Happy New Year!

Also, I’m thrilled to say, Happy New Season of Technology and You! I love presenting this show as it really has helped a lot of people who considered themselves ‘technophobes’ get to grips with some great technology. Our first show is on Sunday 4th January at 8pm, and we’ve got some cracking items to show you!

If you’ve always wanted to try a smartphone, we have a brilliantly priced one from Samsung – it’s under £85! When you consider that most big brand smart phones are several hundreds of pounds it really highlights the value.

We will be featuring something exciting and brand new, too! It’s an all-in-one TV, computer and DVD player, and has some more stunning features too – all of which are really simple to use. I think you’ll be amazed by the price! Abby Horne will be helping us to understand everything it has to offer.

We will also be enjoying the company of James Murden, who will be helping us to block nuisance calls with a great little device which sells out super-fast. He also has a fantastic TomTom deal to talk us through. Great for everyone, but especially great if you’ve always been a bit afraid to try satnavs. TomTom makes it so easy with this model.

Lee Hohbein will also be talking us through an excellent tablet from Sony, which is fabulously water resistant! Having dropped an iPad in the bath myself, I can see the merits of this! It’s all too easy to knock over that glass of wine, especially if you’ve preceded that one with a few others! Or maybe it’s a cup of tea… either way, tablets don’t generally appreciate being covered in liquids!

The best thing about these shows is we slow down the pace and really take everything right back to basics, so if you have ever felt left behind with technology, now is your chance to have your very own masterclass. Debbie Flint will be on hand to direct your questions to our experts too, so please feel free to get involved.

I have some other good news for you if you’ve been waiting for my weight loss secrets… Christianne Wolff – health and wellbeing guru – will be with us on the 16th January in the morning show, when we have her book on QVC for the first time! The dates have changed a couple of times but we’re hoping this is third time lucky, so set a reminder in your diary. In my next blog I’ll show you some of the delicious food I’ve been enjoying on her plan.

Big hugs and very best wishes to you for the new year,

Love Catherine xx

    Hi fellow Kathryn!

Thanks for your kind comments. The book is on air this Friday in the morning show and, I’m told, it’s already selling before people have even seen it! It’s called The Body Rescue Plan.

    Keep well & warm,

    Catherine x

    Dear A McPherson,

Sorry, I don’t have your first name…thank you for writing in to me. I’m glad you felt you could turn to me to help you. I will raise this at my end to see what can be done and why this issue appears not to have been logged.

I’m so sorry for your bad experience. I promise you we do value you and I really want to make sure we put this right. Thank you for your patience, please have faith that the great service you’ve loved over the years will be resumed as soon as possible.

I hope you are having a lovely day. I’ll do my bit and would love you to post again to let me know when you hear from QVC.

    Big hugs & love,

    Catherine xx

    Hi Susan,

I’m so sorry you haven’t had a reply until now. The MSI can become, effectively, a TV by watching tv online through either apps which allow you to view live tv or catch up services such as 4OD or BBCiplayer.

Apologies for any confusion. I hope this helps to explain?

    All the best,

    Catherine x
