Food, glorious food!

Catherine Huntley I love food so much that I’m having my own Christmas food and drink gift ideas show tomorrow (Friday 21st November) at 2pm.

It’s going to be my kind of day! I’ll be doing two hours of crafting with Dawn Bibby from 11am and then a whole hour of foodie gifts, including cakes and choccies. Mmmm.

Anyone who watches our craft shows knows my mantra of ‘craft & chocolate’. They go so well together! After all, you need to keep your strength up when creating!

Here’s a little taster of some of the edible gift ideas we’ll have for you;

Exmoor Style Premium Foods. These are fully traceable foods where all the meat is free-range and reared in the Exmoor National Park. You’ll find this food served up in some of the finest 5-star restaurants.

You can’t go wrong with a gift of Thornton’s Chocolates, so I’ve chosen some great gifty sets for you to enjoy. Of course, I shall sample a few myself!

I have some amazing goodies from Clam’s Cakes in South Wales. Clam’s Cakes is run by a lovely mother and son team. These are the kind of cakes we’d all love to make if we had the time and know how – I’ve tried them and they’re utterly divine!

Wales has a very special place in my heart and, my goodness, do the Welsh know how to do make tempting treats or what?

I’ll have to leave a little room for Sunday’s Lindt Chocolates show at 4pm. We virtually sold out of everything on their premiere show earlier this month. Some people feel Christmas just isn’t right without Lindt chocolate, so prepare to be spoilt for choice!

If you can’t have a bit of spoiling and naughtiness at Christmas, when can you?

Love Catherine x

p.s. I almost forgot to mention that we’ll also have Calico Cottage fudge for people who love to craft in the kitchen!

p.p.s. Have you ever tried any of our foods? Share your experiences by leaving a comment below and I’ll get back to you soon.

Yes, bought Easyio Yoghurt and eat it like its going out of fashion! But Catherine make sure when you are crafting that you don’t get chocolaty fingermarks all over your cards and scrapbook pages! I’m sure if you are aging them it works though. You will have to ask Dawn if it is a technique she can recommend.

I was watering at the mouth watching your food shows, esp the Lindt show. How jealous was i watching you eat all that devine chocolate. You’d better not tell the Bibster you were eating it or she will want some, us crafters all like oyur choccies don’t we.
    Love watching you on tv.
Merry Christmas with love and best wishes.
p.s. give your cats a huge hug and kiss for me.

    Hi ladies,
Thanks for joining in the choccy chat! You won’t believe my luck but I have yet another glorious food show tomorrow at 1pm! ‘True Taste of Wales’ is the title of the show and there are so many yummies coming up! Good job I have a fitness show the hour before so can feel a bit redeemed when scoffing all the goodies.
I love Easiyo, too. I currently have two pots on the go in the fridge. Even though it’s good for you it tastes like a naughty treat!
The kitties are food fans too, I am a bit naughty if we have salmon and always save a little bit for them as it seems to activate a pneumatic purr inside them!
Hope you’re both enjoying some choccy treats at this time of year, too!
    Love Catherine x

Hi Catherine, I saw you on tv Monday 9 with murano glass. May I just say that you are looking stunning just now, not that you didnt before, but your hair suits you so much the way you have it now. I remember when you joined qvc first and were a bit nervous but now you appear as if you’ve been there always.
