When I was asked if I wanted to try out the new Vax carpet washer, which is our TSV this Thursday, I wondered if it would be a good idea to do something like that at this time of year.
I was a bit concerned that washing the carpet would put the room out of bounds for a long time whilst it dried, and my wife was worried the house would smell like a wet sheep for a few days… I needn’t have worried!
We have a door that leads out into the garden and despite the fact we are constantly washing and drying our dog’s feet, I know that quite a lot of dirt gets brought in. You can see exactly how much by looking at the pictures!
I last did our carpet in September so it’s not that long ago so I was genuinely shocked (as was my wife) as to how much dirt a small carpet can store. It didn’t take long to remove it!
I started the cleaning at 2.00pm and was completely finished at 2.30. It wasn’t a big area and as you can see I had some help from Jamie our dog!
After this was finished, the kids and I went out for a walk and a pla,y and by the time my wife can back from work at 6.00pm the furniture was back on the dry carpet and the house didn’t smell like a wet sheep at all – it smelt beautifully fresh!
The Vax carpet cleaning solution is brilliant – this machine scrubbed the carpet better than any other I have used, and has superior suction power so that the carpet dried quicker than ever before.
Vax have produced another winning combination and I’m looking forward to talking about it on Thursday’s Morning Show.
