Winter Clear Out!
Well I decided to tackle the mundane job of clearing out the wardrobes in our flat over the last few weeks! I am a bit of a hoarder but I could not believe how much rubbish I had in there! I must have filled 4 bin liners with clothes, bags, shoes which I took to a charity shop near us.
When I started at QVC last summer I was given some non-slip Grip To Me hangers for my dressing room and I thought they were just fantastic as they save you so much space and clothes actually stay on them! All the stylists at QVC use them for our fashion ranges, they are such a simple idea but soooo useful!
So I decided to get some of the pink Grip To Me hangers for my winter clear out at home and what a difference they have made!! First off all I actually recognise my clothes when I open the wardrobe, I am able to hang up tops which got creased when I previously folded them and everything looks neat and tidy!
Last week QVC asked me to take home some of the Grip Me hangers and take some "before and after shots" for the upcoming TSV this Thursday 10th November but as I already had filled my wardrobe with them I decided to tackle Neil's wardrobe instead!! I have attached some photos, he could not believe it when he saw his wardrobe this morning and was thrilled at how much room he had in there! I got him the purple ones which I think are lovely. He has to wear a suit to work every day so always hung them on a wooden hangers which took up so much room but with the Grip me suit hangers he has so much space now and his suits and shirts are not getting crushed. The cascading hooks are brilliant for his jeans and t-shirts again saving you a lot more space!
I never thought I would get excited about hangers but I have got to say they are one of the best QVC products (other than my EasiYo!!) I have tried! and of course the best thing is its a great excuse for me to now go shopping to buy new clothes!!:-)
I'm off to Dublin this afternoon to see my Mum for a few days so have a great week!
