As I write this. It's just turned 8am and I'm at the garage with my car. There's a problem with my steering, it vibrates when I brake, so it's being checked over… I'm wondering if this is a quick repair or something a little more major! Hopefully the former.
I've been coming to this dealership for years. Their customer service is brilliant (they don't know I'm writing this, I wouldn't want to make them blush!) and they do a great job in looking after my car.
So I'm sat here with a paper cup of water (tea and coffee is available) BBC TV on in the background and a box of toys in the corner for children to play with… I'm tempted to construct something with the huge building blocks, but I'm resisting!
I'm sending and receiving emails to work, browsing through some photos on my iPad, and of course, writing this blog in between. Technology is amazing isn't it!? My children refer to me and my 'olden days' when I talk about rolls of film for a camera and how, when I was a child, if I wanted to call home, I needed to make sure I had 10 pence in my pocket!
With this fast pace in technology… and it's moving at quite a rate, I do wonder where it'll be in ten years time… Exciting! Still no news yet on my car… keeping fingers crossed.
Looking at my schedule (which has come through on email while sat here!), if you're a fan of Kim & Co, do join me this coming Tuesday night (2nd of October) at midnight for the brand new Kim & Co TSV.
The name alone is so inviting – the Kim & Co printed soft touch top! As you can see in the image above, the print echoes one of the most sought-after looks for autumn/winter fashion in 2012 – winter florals! The shape and cut is really flattering and the fabric is so soft against the skin. I hope you can join me.
In the meantime I'm being called over. The car is done, hopefully nothing too major, I've only been here a little over half an hour…
It's good news! I've already forgotten what the problem was, but the car is fixed. Glad they checked it over… I'm not one to take chances with the brakes or steering!
Looking at the time I can probably squeeze in a visit to the gym, then a quick run around the supermarket (we go though so much milk at home… I'm embarrassed to say how much!) Then home to get ready for QVC.
Take care and see you soon
