On the best products for sensitive skin with mild rosacea…

Elemis Sensitive Cleansing Wash Q: Can you tell me the best brand/products for my dry, hyper sensitive skin. I also have mild rosacea and persistent redness but the bumps on my face are not infected.

Alison: Specifically for redness you want the Elemis Daily Redness Relief. This is a great product for helping to calm down redness and is often used in salons to help with rosacea. So, any red or swollen areas will really benefit from this cream.

For your sensitive skin I'd recommend the Elemis Sensitive Skin Wash or Elemis Cleanser & Toner – whichever you prefer to use to clean your face on a daily basis.

What would make a perfect combination with the Elemis Daily Redness Relief is the Elemis SOS Cream. This has a lovely balm texture which you can use at night to soothe and comfort your skin. You can use these products both morning and night, and it depends on how your skin feels as to whether you prefer to use a lighter texture for redness or a richer texture to soothe it.

    Hi Alison
I am 45 years of age and have dry sensitive skin. I am using L’occitane Immortelle range right now and their shea butter range but my skin still requires moisture, what else can I use. The skin around my nose and on my cheeks is sometimes very dry despite my best efforts.

I have the MOST super sensitive skin and I used to try all products, and have bad reactions. Red skin, horrible! It turns out it was all the chemicals in the skin products that my skin was reacting to.
I have been using Made from Earth products for over 10 years for everything from a night cream to a lip balm to and um…well let’s just say you can put it anywhere on your body and it pretty much heals anything.
Maybe its genetics but i am 44 and have no wrinkles. i have also put this stuff right on a pimple and it helped it heal. I do not travel without it. It is the best healing and multipurpose skincare solutions i know of.
