I’m not too sure about April showers but it’s pouring down with rain as I write my blog this week.
It’s been the usual chaos and fun at home too; although a little (in fact a lot of) frustration was encountered after work one night. I arrived home just before 2am, after a late shift, and was greeted with the wonderful smell of home baking. Cakes and biscuits had been made earlier that evening – the search was on! However, my family know me too well and they’d been hidden really, really well. I searched and searched with no success :- (
I gave in and went to bed. Despite the disappointment I was woken the very next morning at 8.30am with my favourite green tea and a mouth-watering piece of homemade short bread. It was out of this world. The rest is still hidden though!
Dale and I finally managed to meet up, after months of trying to, with our dogs. They got along beautifully. They chased and played and then chased some more. If you’ve visited Dale’s blog you’ll have seen how much of an accomplished photographer he’s become; like me, he loves wildlife, and he has a real knack for capturing some wonderful shots. He came prepared with his camera and took some lovely pictures of my Cairns. This is one of my favourites!
We were hoping to get ourselves a well-earned bacon roll but Dale had an appointment to get to so it’s planned for next time. Having written the words ‘bacon roll’ I’m now in need of one! The trouble is – we’re out of both bacon and rolls right now. :- (
Speaking of all things tasty and delicious… I highly, highly recommend Joe and Seph’s popcorn. This is one of my favourite selections. You can even see a video presentation with Alison Keenan. It’s like no other popcorn I’ve tried before. Divine!
I’m looking forward to being back on air this coming Monday 14th March with Flora Mare Maritime Skincare at 4pm. We have an amazing TSV from them – I hope you can join us.
Then straight after, at 5pm, I’m presenting the beautiful Epiphany Platinum Clad Diamonique.
Take care and see you soon.
Time for another piece of shortbread perhaps? Of course!
