Burgundy Cycling to BundleBerry with Amanda Holden

3

How on earth has it got to July? June came quickly but July is ridiculous! I remember as a child  when I was in school, summer holidays just seemed to last forever, those school holidays had endless days of sunshine and playing out. Now the Summer flies by!

As a promise to myself as part of my New Year’s resolutions to travel more I’m crow barring in as many holidays and mini-breaks as possible this year, I’ve been very lucky with the opportunity to. I’ve just returned from a short cycling trip in France through the Route Des Grande Cru in Burgundy.

The scenery was spectacular, vineyards everywhere and beautiful French rustic villages along the way. The temperature was mid thirties and with 45 miles to cycle that takes its toll. Whilst lots of people have stressed how little cycling in the heat would appeal to them, everybody has indicated that the abundant ‘Degustation-Vente’ or ‘wine tasting’ caves would! The opportunity to sample some of the world’s finest Pinot Noir didn’t go a miss!

In matters closer to home, the much needed work I had done in the house is pretty much finished so it’s lovely to be able to enjoy the kitchen and entertaining space. I’ve had a keen eye out for some homeware that works for my space and taste. I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by Amanda Holden’s range BundleBerry.

Whilst my place is actually Victorian in terms of era the kitchen is actually industrial chic (whatever that is). Essentially the kitchen is clean & contemporary white gloss but with black exposed beams, exposed internal walls and complete with graffiti style tiles. Now that’s not everybody’s taste I know but I like it.

Think warehouse with luxury touches. I’m no interior designer but I don’t have to be. I’ve selected a few items from Amanda’s BundleBerry range and let them do the talking. The great thing about the range is that above everything it’s stylish so regardless of your decor or age of your property a few new pieces make it feel fresh.

I’ll be working with Amanda Holden this Thursday at 2pm why not tune in and have a look and let me know what you think!

I’ll be there for the Amanda Holden show. I love how you have done your gaff. I would have liked the sunflower fields the best on your trip. Wine and bikes come way after flowers on my love list. I admire your lust for life and you inspire me everyday.

    Love Melissa xxx

Hi Chloe, I have just read your blog about your cycling holiday to France, if U like cycling holiday U should visit Sark in the Channel Islands. As there are no cars allowed on the Island only bicycle.
